Latin America: Trouble Brewing!
ChronWatch ^ | Jan. 10, 2003 | Leo Lacayo

Posted on 01/11/2003 6:01:52 AM PST by madfly

With all eyes on the front door, trouble is certainly brewing in our backyard.  Almost every analyst and talking head is focused on Iraq, and we may be ignoring the trouble building up in Latin America.

Here is a short list of Latin American places to keep an eye on.  Remember, troubles in these countries are compounded by poverty and the propaganda of the left that American is the ''imperialist exploiter.''   Believe it or not, America today has more enemies than ever before.  This doesn't even begin to count the internal enemies and the old enemies passing themselves off as our friends.

VENEZUELA:
One of our largest crude oil providers is in the hands of a modern day madman, Hugo Chavez.  He once led a failed coup attempt to unseat the democratic country, played footsy with the legal system, and got himself democratically elected president.  Then he turned around, appointed himself virtual president for life, and put left wing stooges in every phase of one of Latin America's wealthiest countries.  Rocked by weeks of strikes, the country is divided by those that want to turn it into another Cuba (Chavez has contact with Fidel Castro regularly) and those who want to keep the country stable.  Of course, the middle ground should win, but that isn't happening because first you have to get rid of the problem--in this case Senor Chavez!  You would think that after all we have been through we would know better than to consort with this guy.  It is going to be incumbent upon the Venezuelan people to oust Herr Chavez and return the country to some semblance of real democracy and free economy.
National strikes have virtually paralyzed the country.  Even gas is no longer available.  Chavez is being proppted up by the left wing government of Brazil and socialist mentors around the globe, as well as consorting with dangerous terrorists.  This is happening in a rich poor country, so can you imagine what is happening in the real poor ones?

BRAZIL
A new left wing president has just been elected, so get ready for more political fallout for the imperialists of the north when we become the stars of  ''Villains over Latin America,'' a play critical of anything American, be it Coca Cola or a Free Economy.  Brazil's willingness to compromise itself with the left is already on display by its bold leadership in sustaining the unpopular Chavez regime in Venezuela, against a popular civil uprising that has left multiple dead at the hands of Chavez home grown totum macute.  Both Brazil and Venezuela encamped on a picnic with Senor Castro in Cuba sends shivers up the spines of democracy-loving Latinos and U.S. former intelligence officers.

CUBA
This is the bedrock of anti-imperialism built on the bodies of thousands of Cubans, murdered by that kindly grandfather Mr. Fidel Castro, close buddy of Jimmy Carter, and the new consort of some big-business interests in the US.  We want the mega dollars that Cuba collects from prostitution and other revolutionary activities.

It's ironic that the toothy nobel-laureate from Plains, Georgia can erase from our memories the sight of Cubans fleeing the island in droves to escape the tawdry existence in Cuba, especially if you take into consideration that the mass exodus has been going on for 40-plus years.

El Barbudo even managed to reclaim a victim--poor little Elian Gonzalez, who ran into field marshal Janet Reno, in charge of covering up all the crimes in high places under Bill and Hilary Clinton. It's too bad that Americans seemed to be blessed with short memories where failures and evil seem to be linked.
Ronny Reagan, where are ya when we need ya?

COLOMBIA
The leftist are on the verge of running the country though the guerillas which decide who pays and who goes free, and can kill legislators and judges at the drop of a beret.  Cocaine, continues its merciless attack on the American people.  Forget anthrax; the white powder found all over Washington is cocaine.  It's found its way from poor countries serving as trampolines to the fertile US market.  It destroys more people than the 9-11 attack, and it does so without causing much alarm.  The real silent killer isn't a stroke; it may be just a toke!  Nothing gets imported with such a bang as cocaine, and nothing is better accepted in Hollywood than dollars.  Too many Hollywood left wingers are drugged-up dopers.  So in their haze,  they are able to attack our President and our country.   People with too much money, too much time on their hands, too much guilt on their minds, too little education or knowledge, too many drugs, and you get Hollywood liberals.

My advice:  check out the scene for yourself.  Read up on Latin America and see if the dark clouds are just El Nino about to revisit, or the new left getting ready to march.  The truth might shock us all.

We have significant challenges in our own hemisphere. Time to pull back troops from South Korea and Europe. The savings can be applied to strengthening alliances in our own back yard.

To heck with alliances, let's live up to their expectations and make them colonies under our rule. If they are going to act against us as if that were what we doing I say do it :)

And we know of these things because of the internet. The mainstream media is keeping us busy with Blackwell's Worst Dressed List, and the sheeple are watching football. I would hope that Pres. Bush at least touches on the the matters of our hemisphere in his State of the Union Speech. He often speaks of it when noting NAFTA's "contributions" to the Americas.

"Time to pull back troops from South Korea and Europe."

Wrong answer. It's already high noon. This is a just war on all fronts.

all of it, combined, could be handled by an hk-91 without having to reload.

Hugo Chavez - Venezuela

Hundreds of Venezuelans stand in line to apply for a Spanish passport in Caracas January 10, 2003. A strike launched December 2, 2002 by opposition members of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has battered Venezuela's oil-reliant economy, rattled global energy markets and fired up the political conflict between opponents and supporters of the leftist leader to resign and call elections. Add to the list the economic turmoils of Argentina, and the Presidential elections in Ecuador, the Indians Rights movement, and the Fujuimori hangover in Peru. Makings of some rumblings. Hear ye, hear ye.

Many prayers. Brainwashed Eco-nuts are screaming about the endangered species, like the pygmy shrimp, and the South American Rain Forest, while the Argentinians are standing up to Chavez and risking their lives. Well let's see what's on TV.

Have I missed something here? Why would the Argentinians stand up to Chavez?

South America is who I would look at besides the others. I had great threads with links during the spy plane problem but I never book marked them.

I think "Venezuelans" was meant. They all look alike anyway. ; )
