One day either us or folks like us down the road are going to have to settle this unless a profound calamity occurs that will shock folks back into the real world and they'll be too busy simply surviving to worry about petty crap like social engineering and constitutional dilution....neither is a pretty resolution but that's about the only hope I see. If we lose, then it's game over for the individual here.

I hate to think it will take a major WMD attack and economic collapse to turn us from our course, but that may be reality. But that would be just exchanging the frying pan for the fire, and leave us in possibly a worse condition with even less freedom, ruled by tyrants and warlords emerging from the ashes. Hopefully some of the gun gestapo politicians will hear about the book, read it, and wake up in time to the disastrous course they are steering for the nation, and for themselves personally.

To the asshole who wrote this article: tyranny and dictatorships are just as much in fashon today as they were during our founding fathers' time. Private gun ownership is just as necessary in today's world, if not more so, than it was two centuries ago.

Inside is a TEN PAGE homage to NY Atty General Elliot Spitzer under the (gag) headline "CRUSADER OF THE YEAR". (!!!!THERMONUCLEAR BARF ALERT!!!!)

The article is mostly about his entire life and about his crusade against eeee-vil corporate crooks, but we know him as one of the most strident and hardcore gun grabbers in the country. He is open in calling for the virtual banning of guns by putting 1,000% taxes on ammo, banning any bullets (deer rifle) capable of defeating police vests, etc.

This ten page article was purely a puff piece, and the subtext on every page was "Presidential Timber!" and "Elect This Man President ASAP!" Clearly the lamestream media is going to pull out all the stops to advance the careers of gun grabbers like Spitzer.

Now that is a scary thought, and Spitzer is not alone on his side.
