"Gay marriage" Same story..

As well as a dozen other things..

I don't think it serves the "big three" well to battle each other in this fashon.. If anything we should unite.

Yeah, it contains a tiny sprinkling of passages like that, but they are there to throw in the faces of us infidels. It reassures those of us who have not read the whole thing, and those of us who do not look at the big picture and judge them by the fruit they bear.

Do not be lulled to sleep, or you and your family may never wake up. Your family, God forbid, may come to not be able to forgive you for that.

Really, my friend, you should have read the whole Koran, not just spout off the tiny sanitized sprinklings of incongruous pacificity it contains to deceive the innocent or ignorant. Do not do the enemies of humanity any favors.

"Just do a little research and strive for the truth."

As you see it to be the truth?

Just from reading your post, one can see that you are not interested in anything other than your pre-conceived notions of all Muslims.

You seem nearly afraid to have this man speak without you interjecting your slant. Warning listeners as if the people who frequent this site are not intelligent enough to reach their own conclusions.

I don't? Ask me anything about Islam. I have attended their little get togethers you know where they try to get new members. I have sat down with Cat Stevens well he isn't Cat anymore but doesn't matter. I have read the Koran and then sold it to the highest bider when I knew it was false!

You have lost your mind..

I know Muslims personally.. This anti-muslim insantiy is completely misdirected..

It's easy to apply, but it's not accurate.. You should realize that.

NO, actually, it contains a lot more passages in which Christianity is spoken of in a positive light, than the Bible has passages painting Islam in a positive light.

"And Zakariya and John, and Jesus and Elias: all in the ranks of the righteous."---(The Holy Quran6:85)

Well, what about my question...

Don't we, the three greatest religions since the beginning of time.. Don't we have bigger problems?

Can't we find common ground, despite our differences?

I can think of many common sentiments..

Four.
Two of them are presently students of mine. Another was a student and a good friend for many years. I dearly miss him, but he dissappeared right after 911. What I didn't know at the time, is that the Koran strictly forbids him from having a Christian or a Jew as a friend. Instead it says he must lie in wait for me and smite and kill me at every opportunity. But this was not my gentle friend, though he considered himself a devout Muslim. He apparently does not follow the central holy book of Islam. A crummy muslim, I guess, but I love him and miss him.

How about you?

And did you think you would bring me to my knees with your incredibly clever zinger of a question?

Had I said I knew none or a thousand, it would not change a letter of the Koran or a letter of the truth. Your tack was an illogical move, sir. For the source of truth does not change its value, but the tack of a line of questioning may most certainly lose its validity.

There is one God and Allah is not God! Ask Daniel Pearl about Islam. Wait they chopped off his head didn't they?

I may of been born in the 50's but I am no fool!

Same as my muslim friends.. They didn't kill me either..

Actually, the fact that I was religious was revered among them.

I had no idea they were Muslim, till I offered one a piece of our pizza during his fast... They were that overt and that opressive.

...your pre-conceived notions of all Muslims.

The universal quantifier you apply to me here is false and falacious. Can you read an English sentence and understand it or should we have to converse in Spanish? Somehow I think it may be a cognitive lack on your part rather than just a language barrier.

Yes, they worship a false God, no question..

That has never been in dispute.. At least not in our conversations.

And here, folks, with one dashing sweep of the pen, Mr. Gonzalez accurately paints himself as an uneducated boob.

THE BIBLE WAS WRITTEN CENTURIES BEFORE ISLAM EXISTED! Just how do you think the Bible should refer to Islam.

Sheesh! I'm done with this moron!
