Fresno Support Our Troops Rally 01-17-2003

A dozen of us turned out to counter protest about the same number of cowardly peaceniks (read terrorist supporters) across the street. Was a great night for FReeping. Temps in the 50's, high fog and full moon (hidden by the high fog - typical January Sunny California weather).

Two very enthusiastic young men from Fresno Community College joined us tonight. We were also joined by Helena and her children Jonno and Sarah, a family that has FReeped with us many times.

Another lady joined us for awhile. She has a grandson in Iraq and two nephews in the service who will probably be shipping out soon. She says she has counter protested against this same group of peaceniks before and will no doubt be joining us more often in the coming weeks.

We thank all of you who were with us tonight and missed those who couldn't make it. Saundra Duffy and Lager now live in Fresno and will be joining us starting next week.
