Worst part.. my cable bill help show it... Double YUCK!!

Yeah, I know. But I'm going to sign up for cable next week -- with the war coming on, I don't want to be stuck with ABCCBSNBCPBS for news. Our local provider has FOX so I know I'll get "fair and balanced" (my local bank has FOX News on over the teller windows so you don't notice how slow the lines are)!!

It's times like this I wish I owned one of those jackets with "FBI" in giant yellow letters on the back. I'd just walk all around the protest all day, wearing that jacket and carrying a camera with a HUGE honkin' lens, snapping hundreds of photos and making the Saddam lovers all paranoid as hell.

Back during the Cold War the pacifists used to hold a demonstration in front of Wright-Patterson AF Base on Hiroshima Day. Some of us would hold a counter-demonstration to support the troops. One time my son was home from graduate school. I usually took a camera with me to the counter-demo, but never had time to take any pictures. I gave my camera to my son and asked him to photograph the event. I had forgotten he had been a photographer for his college paper when he was an undergraduate. He went around doing a very professional-looking job of taking pictures. He told me later that the leader of the pacifists came up to him and asked who he was taking pictures for (the guy had a record of opposing US military action going all the way back to WWII when he was jailed as a communist). My son told him it was just for himself. The commie replied, "Oh, I thought we were being targeted for assassination." It did my heart good to know we put some fear into his slimy little soul.

According to a World Net Daily story "Has anti-war movement been hijacked?" Ramsey Clark, founder of ANSWER, is legal counsel for Saddam Hussein. Sad-dam, can you say mother of all conspiracies?
(Thanks Mr. Farah for making research too easy :)

I know, they are disgusting and infuriating.

I had to skip taking part in the D.C. Chapter/MOVEOUT counter demonstration because I could not honestly pledge I would remain non-violent when a stone's throw from such as these.

And such is their agenda, and their allies, that I do not know how much longer it will be appropriate to remain non-violent.

"The second upgraded strategy involves the use of the new 'independent' Muslim states in the CIS to establish and develop economic and political cooperation with the fundamentalists in Iran and elsewhere in the Muslim world. According to this assessment the much-advertised feud between the Armenians and the Azerbaijanis of Turkish descent in Nagorno-Karabakh may be a tactical ploy to involve Turkey, Iran and other Muslim countries in support of eventual alliance with Azerbaijan and other Central Asian Muslim states in the CIS. This strategy takes into account the growing power of the fundamentalists and the possibility of gaining control over substantial oil reserves."

A.N.S.W.E.R. changed their web site and deleted all reference to any anti-US, anti-democracy, anti-capitalism references and links. There is no mention of Castro, Kim Jong Il. Mumia is still there, though. They also still have the pro Palestinian sites linked. A lot of the more controversial links don't work either.
