In earlier decades this girl and others like her might have been shunned, but no longer. They are still shunned, if I ever find out they have led such a lifestyle.

In a few years, are they suitable material for a marraige? I don't disagree with you but let me ask you this.
Do you believe that no one is cabaple of having thier attitudes towards sex change? This particular girl included?
How can you say with absolute certainty that she will be unsuitable for marriage when the time comes?
How can it be that she will never be worthy of trust? That call is up to her prospective husband...him alone.

What they need is a good... Nevermind... Tongue lashing?

In response to your question, the article answers it to a certain degree:
"If they don't date, how will they learn the skills of discernment, empathy and patience that keep a marriage going?"
"A series of fleeting liaisons will not help those traits," Longmore says. "That's why we want them to have dates, so when they get married they'll have them. But if all they're doing is screwing, forget it."

I asked you that because your previous post seems to indicate that you thought is was OK for the goverment to control what consenting adults do in their bedrooms.
What would you do if they banned your religion?

I seem to remember reading this, that gonorrhea of the throat is the new 'epidemic'.
I read these articles with girls talking about sex with this guy or that, oral sex with this guy or that, being spread around like a plate of canapes.....it makes me sad that young women like this don't seem to realize how cheap they've become. They call it freedom and no strings, but to me it looks like tawdriness. No requirements to be treated with respect or dignity, no obligations on the man's part. They remind me of my rutting goats out in the back yard. The sexual revolution, in my opinion, has made women behave like the men that were originally complained about. Now the girls are just like them. And they're proud of it.

I agree, for the most part this article does not describe the norm. Maybe this is how it works in liberal meccas in New England and the California coast, but I've never seen/heard anything like this in high school or college.

Isn't it nice to know that the "Girls Gone Wild" production company will never run out of material...

For one thing, adolescents no longer see oral sex as sex.I don't believe this for one minute. They may tell you it's not sex, but everyone including them knows that it is. This runs along the same lines as a "marriage certificate being just a piece of paper", when we all know that avoiding that commitment just underscores that fact that YOU KNOW it's a commitment.
