Logic would tell us that the assistant DA would not conceal something from her boss for a Republican. If it were at the request of the CIA or FBI, she would have been doing it for national security reasons, and would not have been fired.

Therefore, the concealment was done at the behest of someone who was a democrat.

Now, the concealment at a democrat's request shouldn't have caused the DA to go ballistic and fire the assistant...unless the concealment was both unmerited and being looked into by the feds, in which case he wants to distance himself from any of this activity.

OK, this is getting better, the more I think about it. Now, a young assistant DA, female, would only have done this if she thought there was a good enough reason...like influence, promise of a higher ranking job, etc. None of this would be forthcoming from state government, which is run by Pataki. Therefore, it had to come from someone who could offer a job outside of state government...which means FEDERAL. Since the Republicans control the executive, the ONLY place a plum could be offered would be one of the two senators' offices, both of whom are democrats.

I like logic problems.

Nonsense. You are naive if you don't understand how incestuous the relations between government officials is. They will cover for other party members if asked, and given sufficient motivation.

And why would the CIA/FBI involve more people than necessary? Perhaps her boss could not be trusted to cooperate. Perhaps her boss has a mistress and blabs. Perhaps her boss has a drinking problem.

You don't realize that they they know all this, do you?

Like, you, I keep thinking about the probable involvement of certain DNC operatives who work for the Hildebea$t, the Junior $enator from NY.

Did they have some FBI file on Ritter that turned him into a dithering idiot about 1999/2000 instead of a problem for Mad Halfbright and Bubba?

Ten to one this female former asst. DA is a long time card carrying rat who would do anything for the Hildebeast and to protect the Clintoons re their inactions with Soddomite from 1993 to Jan 2001.
