I've been saying this for quite a while, now. Nice to see I'm right, though someone else obviously thought of it before I did. And I find the whole Pan bit interesting, to say the least.

What I also find interesting is how Gaea and Pan (Satan, according to these folks), are anti-technology. So by assumption, then, it's safe to say that God is PRO-Technology? Sounds like it (Which, of course, is something I like the sound of).

Whatever the case, it wouldn't surprise me if one day Gaea worship became the official UN/EU state religion. I can see these Green Commies setting the stage for it.

The new age has entered unseen into most Christian churches..see how many do the " inner healing" meditation where people walk back into the womb and take Jesus with you and other such new age practices..or they are told to "visualize" things.. the move to full Paganism in many Christian cburches is not that unlikely a thought

I am Pentecostal. I've seen fakery in my lifetime. I've also seen/known the power of God's Holy Spirit. I hope you have also.

Exactly! And where do you expect that Satan will perform his charade--down on the street corner full of athiests or in the church?

Having been in Pentecostal churches, I can testify that a great deal of what passes for "drunk on the Spirit" "slain by the Spirit" etc. is nothing more than a mass of pew jumping babble meant to look like the real thing.

I do note for the record that time4good did not deny the similar wording between Pentecostalism and Gaiaism (or whatever it is called). Neither, I suspect, will you deny the similar wording in what I "quoted" above with what are generally called "slain in the spirit" and "speaking in tongues".

I'm among the first who stood up years ago and denounced certain aspects that were creeping into my faith. Oral Roberts was the first object of my wrath back in 1956 when I was a senior in high school!

However, it stands to reason that if we were to judge the entire Christian faith by the charlatans and sinful acts of some "professing" Christians, we'd have to throw out Jesus himself, period. But He knew there would be stuff like this happening. That's why He told us to test EVERY spirit.

As far as the availability of Speaking in Tongues, usually people ask for that gift. There have been times when it descended upon a person though who didn't ask for it. As far as trying to explain it, how do you explain the taste of a pear? Unless one has experienced something for oneself, understanding may remain elusive.

No, I can't. The term "queen mother" isn't found in the Old Testament., but the term "queen" is, and it amounts to the same thing: Back then, "queen" = "mother of the king", not "wife of the king", since kings back then had many wives.

Remember, Sacred Scripture is only part of the deposit of God's Word. The teaching of sola scriptura is an invention of man, not God -- the idea of "Bible only" Christianity is not found in Scripture.
