I don't doubt this story at all. But some of my friends would because it's not 'mainstream.' is there a source link outside of efn that contains some of this info?

This was just posted on Free Republic: (Top UN weapons inspector Hans Blix said on Monday Iraq had refused to allow reconnaissance flights by U2 aircraft over its territory to aid inspectors in their search for any weapons of mass destruction...) <

That was why the question mark, the new Moon is Feb. 1, then Apr. 3.

(CIA Report: "Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction Programs")>

US House of Representatives Information Service: WHAT IRAQ HAS FAILED TO DO, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Legislative Affairs

Is that "mainstream" enough for you? If there is ever a fact published on efreedomnews you have a question about, we will reveal our sources or subtantiate the fact to another reference upon request. We often publish bibliographies, especially on historical articles.

Not that I'm looking for company on the Iraq Betting Pool, but let me put it this way.

How long do you think the long range (PGM and high altitude bombing missions) will last before troops and low level flights/close air support begins?

When do you REALLY want a New Moon? When the war starts with PGMs, high altitude, stand off bombing -- or when the fighters go in?

Since we already have the north and south fairly well in hand, at most 2 days in those regions. Around Bagdad and Tikrit(sp?) that will depend on the resistance and if there is a WMD counterattack and on who. If Saddam tries or hits Israel with one, I think we will have to wait until things 'cool down' =() before we can go in.

IMHO, The game is to stall until US troops would have to fight in midsummer-in CBW gear. Hot there to begin with, but each suit would be an individual cooker.

Not the first time someone had used the local weather against an opponent.
