Propaganda Poster From North Korea: (Korean: US imperialists shouldn't carelessly provoke war)
Yahoo ^ | Jan 20 2003 | no byline

The North Korea Central News Agency released posters depicting North Korea's military power on January 20, 2003. The letters read, 'U.S. imperialists shouldn't carelessly provoke war.' A Russian envoy held six hours of talks with reclusive North Korean leader Kim Jong-il and described the meeting on the nuclear standoff between Pyongyang and Washington as substantive and successful. Here's what our enemy is putting out. The previous poster of missles hitting the capital building (sometime last year) is no longer in Yahoo's photo links; I saved this one to my drive.

All is not bad news. South Koreans turned out to support American policy:

South Koreans gather Sunday, Jan. 19, 2003, in downtown Seoul, to show support for the United States and the military personnel stationed in the country. More than 40,000 braved the cold weather to chant slogans and listen to Christian leaders. (AP Photo/David Longstreath)

About 30,000 protesters rallied in the the South Korean capital on Sunday, calling on North Korea to re-enter a global nuclear treaty. They also voiced their opposition to the withdrawal of U.S. troops from South Korea. REUTERS/Kim Kyung-Hoon

Many more floating around in the last week or so. The other one is actually of George Bush (an unmistakeable likeness) being threatened with missiles and bayonets. Pretty low class.

So they're going to butt-stroke us?

To death! (Never mind the oddly placed missiles the U.S. guy has.)

Apparently the People's Butt-Stroke of Justice is enough to take out the mightiest, most despicable U.S. running dog imperailist warmongering nuclear maniacs.

Who knew? I guess we should just give them what they want and leave them alone.

Why is the media identifying the pro-American demonstrators as "Christian"? Did they identify the religions of the anti-American demonstrators in DC and San Fran on the weekend? I think they want to say that these Koreans aren't REAL Koreans, they're Christians. Obviously, they're traitors to their homeland.

People with inferiority complexes always feel the need to exagerate their size in art.

Much like the (R) that appears next to the name of scandal ridden Republicans (while the (D) does not see print in such context).

Yes there are Christians in Asia despite religious oppression in China, Indonesia, and elsewhere. The director John Woo is Catholic, I believe.

Do you have a caption/translation of the Korean message?

I found this at Yahoo.

""Let's crush the U.S. nuclear war scheme with our whole nation's unified power ".

I also found this.

The letters on a rocket read, 'U.S. imperialists should take a close look at (North) Korea's power'.

Thanks. I'm trying to collect these. More Americans need to see the propaganda from our enemies.

They can contrast it with our President's tone and see which side seems more credible/peaceful.
