London Mayor Avoids Pie Attack By Angry Clowns

LONDON -- The mayor of London had a narrow escape Thursday -- from some angry clowns.

The pie-wielding clowns had waited to ambush Ken Livingstone outside a city hall building. The clowns planned to pelt Livingstone with custard pies to protest a new traffic-reduction plan.

The pie-packing performers said a new charge on motorists will hurt their touring circus.

The mayor managed to miss the clowns, but officials refused to say whether he entered city hall through a back door.

Something must be done to control these thuggish clowns and their pies. It's really getting out of hand!

I honestly have a phobia of clowns.....I used to have clown nightmares when I was a child(no kidding)....even Ronald MacDonald freaks me out!.....I stay away from Mickey D's just to be on the safe side.....LOL
...Up until the last few years my brothers and sisters used to send me B'day cards with clowns on them, just to scare me(they think it's funny)....

I have a little niece who's afraid of clowns. At a birthday party for another niece, where a clown was hired for the occasion, she hung back while all the other kids were huddled around him, watching him do his magic tricks and make balloon animals. But she gradually edged closer, until she was right up there with the other kids and she got her balloon animal.
