DAMASCUS, Jan 25 (Reuters) - Lebanese Islamic militant group Hizbollah warned the United States on Saturday that it would face a definite defeat if it plunged into a confrontation with Arabs by attacking Iraq.
Hizbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, addressing a conference in the Syrian capital on boycotting Israel and its allies, urged Arabs to stop all forms of dealing and communication with the United States and its people and comply with the traditional Arab boycott against Israel.
Nasrallah said Arabs should realise Israel is "merely a brigade in the U.S. army" suggesting that the United States was their primary enemy.
"If they (Americans) insisted on this war and confrontation ... they'll find themselves in a different type of battlefield where they don't have the ability to strike at the power balance," Nasrallah said.
"If this war broke out it would not be over in a year or two," he said arguing that no military power can win a war against Arabs because they would fight Americans in a fashion similar to the Palestinian uprising and the Lebanese resistance against Israeli occupation troops.
Both the 28-month-old uprising and the Lebanese resistance relied chiefly on suicide bombings and guerrilla attacks in their fight against Israel.
He said those who "entered the confrontation of this sort will be defeated even if he owned the sky and filled it with warplanes."
The leader of the faction which gained fame for ejecting Israeli troops from South Lebanon through armed resistance said: "The United States may be able to trouble governments, defeat armies and dismantle political parties" but it cannot win a war fought by individuals who have no pre-set plans or organised funding.
"Through an objective analysis I can say the American project and the U.S. military presence in the region have no future," he said.

Wait just a cotton-pickin' minute, dirtbag. We insisted on nothing. What exactly were those filthy criminals shouting as they drove jet-liners into the World Trade Centers, anyway. To refresh your memory, I believe it was:
Allahu Akbar!!!

he said arguing that no military power can win a war against Arabs because they would fight Americans in a fashion similar to the Palestinian uprising and the Lebanese resistance against Israeli occupation troops. Does this guy really want Americans to look at them the same way Israelis do?

Yeah right. He's about as objective as bill clinton looking at an intern, teddy kennedy looking at a drink or an intern, or Nadler looking at a sandwich or a page.

In a way it's kind of sad and pathetic to have to kill things like this. He reminds me of a rattlesnake I found in my house once. I'm looking at it and I'm thinking, "this is just a dumb animal that has no clue where it is or what's about to happen to it. It's a shame to have to do this. But it's a damned rattlesnake, so... WHAM!" |

"Does this guy really want Americans to look at them the same way Israelis do?"It would be SOOOO much easier if he did...we're pretty much at that point anyway. In fact, if it weren't for Pali terrorists and the expertise the IDF gained from fighting against the goofballs, the US wouldn't be as well off today in the war on terror...thanks Hezhollah terrorists (may your gonads fall off)

The isrealies withdrew UNILATERALLY as an olive branch to the lebanese, and not because of any military defeat... This is the High Price of Peace
Once again makes true the well worn line, Even War is better than a WRETCHED PEACE

You sure about Nadler? Perhaps it is Jerry Studds from Massachusettes you're thinking about? I seem to remember that he was involved with several young male pages and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAPPENED TO HIM!!!!!!!!

The difference between the snake is that the snake was that he chose to be a danger to others. The snake was dangerous because it was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Hizbollah warns U.S. of defeat over Iraq"Defeat" over Iraq is gonna be US soldier's combat boots as we kick the sh1t outta these islamowackjobs.
If we, as posted earlier today, begin with 600-800 cruise missiles and precision guided munitions, by the time we actually get around to a traditional invasion I figure two weeks max to victory (and that's being conservative).
