The UN is like a traffic cop on PROZAC....and just as ineffective. Saddam must go, and soon. However, I wish there was another way other than war. I just don't see an alternative avaliable at this time.

This preoccupation with the word "war" is getting on my nerves--bigtime.
When one uses "war," the immediate images are years of fighting; bodybags by the thousands; quagmire, etc.

I have ultimate faith in our president, and I do NOT for one minute believe that he will get us into a conventional, protracted "war." I am convinced that this will be swift, decisive, and intense. We will take out the power lines, invade, kill a few bad guys who are Saddam's protectors, and then Saddam will either off himself, or we capture his ass. His son, Uday, will be found in the fetal position begging for dear life.
