Give me a break. Why not start with the Chinese stuff first. It would actually do some good.

The Renault was the Motor Trend Car of The Year in 1982 here in the United States. And who says we have not raised our standards?

No. It was a design some hoped would save the company but it didn't. Studebaker made them for about 2 years before they folded, their dealer in Indiana bought the design and made them till sometime in the mid-80s, and the design has gone back and forth to a couple of private companies since. I believe they've always been assembled in the US, Georgia as we speak.

Wow, I bought a case of that Belgian Monk beer. It comes in wine bottles. You drink one bottle and you are plastered. Good beer too! Something close to a Bass Ale with a depth charge factor.

I proposed a boycott of things and destinations French (and German) a few days ago. Please check out this thread, which includes a link to write your own letter to Monsieur le President Jacques Chirac, explaining (politely, of course) why we don't need no stinkin' cheese.

The Avanti was originally made by Studebaker in South Bend IN. Some of Studebaker's former employees set up shop in Canada to make Avantis. The last Studebaker Avanti was made in 64. The later ones made in Canada had Chevy drivetrains.

When I was in Israel back in the 70's, all the girls would come into the bathroom (locker) to watch me shave my legs. They thought it was SO FUNNY and DEPRAVED. Guess I was wasting ecological skin cells or something.

Frel the Frogs!

Yeah, a fellow 'Scaper. Isn't it maddening that Sci-Fi has cancelled Farscape?

Does that include Celine Dion? (French Canadian singing "God Bless America" - what was the League thinking?)

Who knows...and they let another Canadian (Shania Twain) lip-sync her way through a couple songs dressed in a truly ugly S & M outfit (my hubby wanted to know if she'd forgotten her whip).
