What an excellent article. Hitchens sees Dubya as a methodical prepared leader. His characterization of the UN as "assemblage of sissies and toadies who compose the majority of the United Nations," is hysterical. Thanx for posting it.

What we are really seeing, in this and other tantrums, is not a Texan cowboy on the loose but the even less elevating spectacle of European elites having a cow. Hitchens is coming closer and closer to a break with liberalism. This is barely contained hero-worship for Dubya and contempt for all that Europe and liberalism represents.
I wish all our babies would grow up to be Cowboys, if they would turn out like Dubya.
