Below is an e-mailed invitation to a fundraiser for Sen. John Edwards (D., N.C.) at the New Jersey home of Rachel and Christopher Placitella. Mr. Placitella, a partner at Wilentz Goldman and Spitzer, heads the firm's Toxic and Mass Torts Litigation department and served as New Jersey's counsel against the tobacco industry. He has litigated asbestos and diet drug class action suits.

Edwards has been proclaimed as the most electable and formidable Democratic candidate for President.by whom, his peers?
dedicated his professional life to helping the everyday citizens in their struggle for equality and justice
baloney, in fact Johnny is recognized by his North Carolina brethren as only picking "win-able" cases.

Did anyone grab a shot of edwards as the camera panned to him after Dubya mentioned tort reform? That was priceless.

There is so much dem bloviating about diversity that I keep wondering why there is none at NC Central. I can accept the idea of 'traditionally black' colleges and universities.
I do have problems with diploma mills though.
