That's for sure -- it was not breaking up in CA and his inferrence seemed to be that people in CA that claimed to have seen the shuttle breaking up did not know what they were looking at!
If the shuttle were breaking up in CA, I would assume NASA would have known about it!

I'm monitoring another thread....too bad some of those folks aren't listening to this. They are still stuck back on the tile hitting the wing scenario, the wheel well issue, and, of course, it should never have been sent up in the first place. (sigh)

- it shows a big PUFF as the glow of the shuttle approaches the planet Venus (clearly visible at that time).
This video was shot looking east ... our Fox station played it this moring.
