BRING signs that say "Friends of Saddam" and "Pro terrorist group" or the like, and be sure to draw huge arrows and stand very quietly with the arrows pointing toward the peace demonstrators.

Oh yeah, BTW, for any spelling cops here, PIECEnik's was an INTENTIONAL spelling, since these types really aren't the peaceful sort if you catch my drift.

The Politics of Direct Action (from their website)Gee, another communist group is against the war. What a surprise.
I shouldn't paint them all with the same brush, though, right? < /sarcasm >-- even though ALL of the antiwar groups' websites sound essentially the same. The left insists that the peace movement is "increasingly mainstream" and that objecting to the social agenda of these groups is nothing more than red-baiting and McCarthyism.
Mainstream, my @$$.
To: Dan from Michigan
Why didn't you bold this part?
We encourage any interested groups to plan creative and disruptive acts that do not harm people, but attempt to put a dent in the capitalist military machine that threatens us all. We not only seek to stop this war, but to stop the social problems that support militarism and exploitation.
(Sounds like they plan on breaking some windows, Dan. ;D)

Better not break mine...or I'm gonna get mad, and they don't want to see me get my Irish temper up.

but to stop the social problems that support militarism and exploitation.Of course Saddam does none of this!

Good catch Dan,
I'll give some serious thought to attending...
Thanks for the heads up.
We will be building a breakaway march to engage in direct action and civil resistance.
We are calling for all those interested in turning up the heat on Bush and company to join us for a creative and rowdy display of disruption of business as usual on February 15th in Lansing, Michigan.

Sorry, I won't be able to attend, I've got to shoot two weddings that weekend. If I could, I'd be there. However, I just found out that GVSU, the school I go to in GR, has a Republician club so I will send the word on to them. Also, we should contact Right To Life, and GOP's. Maybe other colleges too...I'll work on local schools. How 'bout family of military? Any ideas?
