It's going to take more than animated .GIFs for her to regain any sort of moral credibility in this humble citizen's book . . .You are greatly overstimating the value and influence of your humble opinion.

Ann says her ex 'reinforced' her own beliefs. I can imagine.

Many folks who don't like Noonan, like Coulter. I like both. Each has a distinctive and effective voice in the debate. I find Coulter's writing slightly Dowdish/childish, even if I agree with it, unfortunately. You're right, she needs to polish it, but I don't really know if she needs to sharpen it any more. I also don't find her funny at all. *shrug*. Sorry to disappoint. I just don't see the kind of class in Coulter that I do in Reagan. Coulter is a product of the Clinton Era; hate-filled, vicious, a veritable pit viper. I might want her as a lawyer, but not as the "cultural representative" of my party. Noonan is a product of the Reagan Era -- optimism in the American dream, great vision, the power of the individual...I'll take the filet mignon and skip the spamburgers, thanks. Hehe.

Noonan. Same class as I see in Noonan. Then again, why bother even correcting the typo, they're almost the same entity. Reaganoonan. :-) Oh, how beautiful they were...

There was no name-calling on my side. If you say that is where you were about to descend, I'll accept your word for it.
To: Kevin Curry
You are greatly overstimating the value and influence of your humble opinion. Terribly sorry. I interpreting that as name-calling. Obviously it's not technically correct. I beg your forgiveness for not liking a writer's style. Sheesh. ;-)

By the way, since we're splitting hairs, would you care to tell me how and where I "overestimated" the value and influence of my opinion? :-)

I used to be a fan of Ann's, but you know what it seems like to me?
She's become a caricature of herself, and really isn't so much interested in promoting conservative causes as much as she's interested in promoting herself or her books....and relying on 'cheesecake' to do it.
She makes these comments about killing, converting the Muslims, but apparently if they are handsome enough they'll probably be spared.
As far as the liberals are concerned, she seems to be adopting one of their favorite tactics. Sell it with sex. I think she's losing it. I really do.

I wonder if there were any among the founding fathers who complained about Patrick Henry, "Pat's heart is in the right place, but I wish he weren't so vitriolic. He's making the rest of us look bad to King George and the French. He is upsetting the widows and orphans of Pennsylvania with all this reckless 'Give me liberty or give me death' noise. Why did he have to say it that way anyway? It's irresponsible! He needs someone appealing to write his speeches for him, someone would soothe and calm with words such as 'If you please, King George, liberty is generally a good thing for a man to have, and I must admit, I do desire it. But I also know that you are a fine fellow and that in your deepest heart you agree with me, at least a little. If you would be so gracious, dear King George, allow me that small, modest measure of liberty that I crave. I am afraid that if I don't get it, my heart will break; I will be in a blue funk for until my weary death, pining for I have not. Thank you for your patience and time.'"

Ann Coulter is not Thomas Paine. Sorry. ;-)

I've discovered that many of Coulter's most fierce critics tend to despise her because she does not support the legalization of drugs. They rarely admit this, but it is the hidden fire that drives their engines of displeasure.
To: JohnHuang2
.........let me add one other thing. If Ann were 400 pounds with a butch haircut, I think some here would agree.
To: Kip Lange
The issue was style, not personality.
You lose.
To: Kevin Curry
You may want to ask them about that.
To: Kevin Curry
The issue was style, not personality. Exactly how do I lose? :p I'll gladly post Thomas Paine quotes if you so desire.

I assume it's along the lines of the current admnistration's? Sorry, she's dropped way off my radar.
