The nation is going through yet another weekend of heightened terror alerts. Our government tells us that the enemy could strike anywhere, at anyone, and at any moment. On the menu of possibilities are dirty bombs in major cities, suicide attackers in hotel lobbies or malls, the release of chemical or biological agents in subways, assassinations, or who knows what else. We are again reminded of the over 3,000 innocent lives that were snuffed out on September 11th 2001 and how that dark day changed America.
The nation is girding itself for war against Iraq, a war that threatens to change the landscape of the world. North Korea is threatening to turn South Korea into ashes and is accelerating its nuclear program. We are told that Islamic terror cells have infiltrated our borders and are awaiting a signal to strike.
It is a proven axiom that evil metastasizes in the absence of strong moral leadership. My high school English teacher said "An idle mind is the devil's playground" and this applies to both nations and individuals. After eight years of the weak and corrupt administration of Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush is left with the Herculean task of returning the nation to its glory. He is doing an exemplary job from all accounts. For eight years the nation drifted. Bin Laden, Sadaam Hussein, Kim Jong Il, and Yasir Arafat stepped into the void.
Bin Laden launched his career in earnest in 1993 the same year Bill Clinton took office. His el-Qaeda network scored its first victory that year in Somalia with the death of American servicemen and the downing of two American black hawk helicopters. Clinton's response was to withdraw from Somalia in disgrace. The emboldened terrorists followed up in subsequent years with the first attack on the World Trade Center, the attack on the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia, the attack on the American Embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, and finally the attack on the USS Cole in Aden.
Except for lobbing a few missiles at an empty terrorist camp in Pakistan and at an aspirin factory in the Sudan, Clinton ignored the growing threat. Clinton ordered that a couple of missiles be let loose on Baghdad the day before Congress was scheduled to hold impeachment hearings. He did nothing in response to the eviction of the weapons inspectors from Iraq and he sent Jimmy Carter to North Korea where a document was signed that foreswore the development of nuclear bombs.
After ordering the bombing of Christian Belgrade, Clinton facilitated the setting up of two Muslim mini-states in the former Yugoslavia, states that are havens for Muslim terrorists, criminals, and drug dealers. In his last months in office, Clinton strong-armed Israel into agreeing to surrender large swaths of territory to Arab extremists. This led to a bloody frenzy against Jews that continues unabated.
On the domestic front, the Justice Department of Janet Reno and the F.B.I. of Louis Freeh targeted the perceived enemies of the paranoid Bill Clinton, the "vast right-wing conspiracy" as his wife called it, rather than paying attention to national security and the growing Islamic terror threat. Clinton's politically correct culture so rotted the security agencies that FBI agents failed to report on suspicious Arabs training at flight schools for fear of being accused of racial profiling. The CIA, according to agent Robert Baer, was reduced under Clinton to groups of computer nerds sitting at desks. Foreign intelligence agents became virtually extinct.
All his adult life, Clinton accrued the political and financial favors that often fall into the lap of powerful politicians who genuflect to the left. The resulting sense of arrogance and invincibility led him to perjure himself before a grand jury in a sexual harassment lawsuit. The average citizen would have been taken away in handcuffs for such a crime. In Clinton's world, only conservatives could be sexual harassers. He knew that the chorus of NOW and their friends would protect him and he was right.
Clinton was so busy feeding his own personal pleasures for eight years that the nation went virtually ungoverned. If there was an overriding ethos or philosophy around Clinton it was to do whatever caused him to be liked. He convinced himself that the ongoing chain of scandals constantly plaguing him and his administration were the fault of "right-wing" enemies. When he finally and mercifully left office, after looting government property and selling pardons to criminals, the country underwent a collective cleansing shower. He perverted virtually every aspect of his office and left the nation supine in the face of growing threats both domestic and foreign.
The Clintons are like herpes: they're no fun, they're embarrassing, and they never go away!
Which is pretty typical for someone who sold his soul to the devil......then married beez's sister. Payday someday.
For several years they sang his song
he was a hero to their cause
In denial many lived
he placed himself up above the laws
He knew all of the right things to say
down through
hell and then back believers would go
In eight long years he's done to us
more damage than you know
For his neglect we would finally pay the price
the count's three thousand dead
We know just where to place the blame
it is on Bill Clinton's head
When the Cole was hit and brave men died
there is no doubt that he hadn't cried
He looked at his polls and sighed
Now this is the end
this is the end
of his legacy
At OKC he saw his chance
he needed to divide us all
He would create the vast right wing
and his mind-numbed fools would pick up the ball
So we'd fight among ourselves
and the
grand scheme had worked, he got his way
With our attention diverted he
would gut the CIA
For his neglect we would pay the price
the count's three thousand dead
We know just where to place the blame
it is on Bill Clinton's head
When the Cole was hit and brave men died
there is no doubt that he hadn't cried
He looked at his polls and sighed
Now this is the end
this is the end
of his legacy
We endured a psychopath
who saw himself as the Rockstar Prez
We had sent the warnings out
watch what this man does, not what he says
For neglect we paid the price
when those great buildings fell with many dead
And we know just where to place the blame
it's on Bill Clinton's head
When the Cole was hit and brave men died
there is no doubt that he hadn't cried
He looked at his polls and sighed
Now this is the end
this is the end
of his legacy
LOL at the tag!
