“This is just another example of the democrats picking and choosing what is morally right on one day, yet not applicable the next,” said Generation GOP Executive Director Josh Cooper. “I do not think Senator Lott’s comments were appropriate nor do I think Senator Edwards’ actions are acceptable. Young people across the country do not want leaders who flip flop for political gain. Perhaps this is why the young people are trending towards conservative leadership.”

Conservative leadership?!? Heck son, a conservative wouldn't have thrown a man to the multiculturalist wolves for just praising a sitting Senator. I'll agree, Lott was wishywashy but good grief, even Al Sharpton stated he had apologized enough. It's not like he said something racist!! But that wasn't enough was it? And Sen Edwards having a meet and greet at a fine Southern gentleman's house is unacceptable?!? I don't agree with Edwards' political views, but he's done more in one action than any Republican besides maybe some boys down in GA have ever done for Southern heritage. Agreed, he flipflopped, but he's at least showing up at the house. What's acceptable to you then? Racist organizations like the NAALCP and the SPLC coming from out of state and attacking South Carolinians for wanting to protect their heritage? At least the good folks of Mississippi were willing to stand up to them. And you can't explain that can you? The numbers counted for voting for the flag required blacks to vote in the positive. What do you say about that?

Oh, but I forgot. It's not the PC revisionist history taught to all the little school children now is it? I tell you boys, it's getting to the point that both parties are losing the South. We're cannon fodder for a bunch of yankee political parties. Looks as if whoever can throw the South and our history to the wolves quicker will win.

Mr. Cooper simply was stating that Senator Lott's comments were not PC and unfortunately, being politically correct or not politically correnct is important to advancing what we all believe in...

It's getting so ridiculously Politically Correct that politicians will soon start accusing each other of carrying coins in their pockets that depict "A Former Slave Owner Home".

If what we have been seeing is "conservative leadership," then I renounce my conservatism.
