Who's this RAT senator saying Estrada and the administration have not established that he is fit? When did the burden of proof shift to the nominee?

The same time the burden of proof shifted to the UN weapons inspectors. Gotta love liberals.

Hatch has been fabulous all day...and I've criticized him for years as being weak.

I sure hope someone will speak up and educate us on what's happening, and what the Republicans can do.

The democrats are getting a free day to do this...there's so much other news, and people haven't had the chance to see them fiddle while Rome burns. Think about it...our country is in peril and these asshole democrats are wasting the senate, thoroughly denegrating their office and the United States Senate.

I called Zell Miller's office today to find out his vote. "Senator Zell Miller has not decided how to vote on Miquel Estrada's nomination", said the fone flunky. I'll call back tomorrow and ask again...I wish everyone would call their senators, republican and democrat and demand that the senators let this nomination go to a vote on the senate floor so that they can get back to business.

What happened to the dems tried and true reason to reject people - their rating with the ABA. The ABA says this guy is a great candidate. However, they aren't listening this time.

They want to stop this guy for a lot of reasons - one of them being that the guy submitted a paper to the USSC in the Bush v. Gore fiasco. I see a PAYBACK from the dems. I cannot believe they still being so petty over losing an election.

I can hardly wait until they looooooose BIG TIME in 2004
