Hey, the way I look at it - D.C. has all those historical forts tucked into the woods, designed to protect the citizens. D.C. residents went through all this before and we'll do it again.

I don’t’ think they would raise the threat level to red 24/48/72 hrs before we attack Iraq, that would be too much of a tip off. Having said that I do believe they would raise it at the same time the first bombs began finding their targets.

Dubya would address the nation then raise it.

It's scary.

It is criminal. They talk about an imminent threat and yet they keep the borders wide open and they keep letting people pour into this country. People should be screaming for this government to seal the borders and yet nothing... all we get is color coded alarms. They had plenty of time to seal the borders and deport all foreigners. If we get nuked and several million Americas die, maybe then this government will take the necessary steps to protect American lives. Unfortunately it is going to have to get real bad before this country does anything meaningfull to protect our shores.

No, but having fired a few Stingers in my day in the old US Army, I'd love to see a Cessna spreading those spores hit by one of those bad boys...It would be sort of like watching the proverbial bug hit the windshield...

I have my own artesian water well...but, I also have some filters. (coffee filters will work for most things too...even gasoline)

Don't forget a HEPA air filtration system as well. Honeywell makes one for about 169.00 that rocks .... :)

I saw dark helicopters circling over downtown Washington (in restricted airspace) around midday.
