I'm tired of the pablum puking peaceniks.
Can we hold a pro-America rally either in New York City or northern New Jersey?
How about we do it on March 1?
We should massively publicize it. I don't know how to go about this, but we should do nationwide pro-America rallies.
Just an idea.

email Rush and Sean Hannity, see if you can put it in news papers free as current events and radio stations.

A talk show host on WABC in NYC tonight was interviewing another talk show host in the Dallas area where a Pro America march is going to be held. Thousands of people were calling in to his show after he proposed the idea. And get this--his son signed up for the Marines three days ago. I think this is a very good idea if framed as a Pro America march. I have a problem calling it a Pro Bush march even though I understand that others see the anti war protests as anti Bush. The issue should be framed as those who support our country and its leadership. Bush isn't making this easy in the way he is going about it. He has allowed the left to mobilize due to his procrastination and his concern over political matters. While I support the decision to go after Saddam, I don't like Bush's political posturing to appease the left. They will never accept him or any of his actions. He should think like a one-term president and make his decisions based on knowledge and principal and let the chips fall where they may come November 2004. I would rather leave office knowing I followed my conscience, rather than following a Karl Rove.

Whatever it is called, the rally needs to be coordinated across the country. There is a post from FT Lauderdale wanting to stage a pro America rally which will counter the so-called peace rally of 2/15. If we could pick a date--March 1 or any other and have a call to congregate in towns all over America, a real statement could be made and sent to the world, as well as Saddam and the UN.

Work with the Firefighter and Police Unions, and put out the word to the National Guard community.
Good luck!

Just once, i would like to see Rush and Hannity support a FR Freep rally, not once have I heard of it.

Glenn Beck, a nationally syndicated conservative talk show host (preceeds Rush on most stations), is in the process of organizing Pro-America/Pro-Freedom (and yes, chellis, PRO-BUSH) rallies across the country. He plans to work with local talk show hosts in each of the targeted cities!

I'm so glad to hear others calling for a Pro-America rally. I emailed Hannity about this several weeks ago but no reply. Glenn Beck held rallies during 2000 election and lots of people came. His website says details re pro America rally to be posted soon. We NEED to have a nationwide rally and NEED to get out as many people as we can. The world should know there are millions of us who love our country and support our military and our brave Pres. Were there protests when Saddam killed his own people? Interesting how the French, Germans, Belgians want to protect innocent children in Iraq but they're not concerned about protecting the innocent children in Turkey. It's time we stand up and let OUR voices be heard!
