Well we're back from Lubbock after putting Jeff on the plane to Ft Bragg. We gathered up most of his belongings in his truck and brought it back with us, we'll be storing it till he gets back. He says they don't know for sure how long they will be activated for, at least a year maybe two. He'll be at Bragg a week or two before shipping over.

Since everyone is having breakfast here's my favorite SOS with sausage, eggs and tomatoes.

Good morning, everyone! I can't complain about the weather here, but seeing what a lot of you folks are going through right now brings back a lot of memories. Brought up in Massachusetts, my all-time favorite was the Blizzard of '78. I still bore people out here with my war stories of it ;-)

Ohhhh - now ya did it!!! I'm starting a low-carb diet today, and just finished crunching some celery sticks :-( I had made biscuits and sausage gravy with scrambled eggs for breakfast yesterday (sob!)

Ice storm yesterday. Woke up to several inches of snow on top today...... A day to stay home and Freep! YEAH! Made a cup of tea and a batch a gramma's biscuits.....little this , little that in a bowl..... throw in the oven....out comes YUM.

Only diet when you're not snowed in. Too much fun to cook when you're home all day.

Happy President's Day everyone! What a wonderful job Dansangel, I'm still trying to figure out the different calendars you mentioned though... Some of the breakfast items, especially that SOS looked uyummy, LadTX, but I had yougurt with molasses and a bran muffin :)Hope everyone is doing well, and for those in snow country - have a good time!
