So, 4 planes went down in Iran?
302 Revolutionary Guards on the first aircraft.
270 Revolutionary Guards on the second aircraft.
250 Revolutionary Guards on the third aircraft.
250 Revolutionary Guards on the fourth aircraft.
That's an awfully bad day for Revolutionary Guards.

Weren't the troops going into Iraq from Iran called the Revolutionary Guard?

Center fuel tank explosion ?

I dunno.... I read these stories and I keep thinking about that plane crash back in,what was it, the 1960's. Mao's unoffical successor and his family were fleeing Red China heading for the Soviet Union when their plane "accidently" crashed to smithereens in Mongolia.
Do you suppose this may have been the case here? You know, realizing war was on the horizon these people decided to cut and run, and as a result were shot down?

KARMA.

What a bunch of dummies. You'd think they would divide them on separate flights -- you know, how company executives do or members of large families -- in case of an air crash.

If these were even regular Iranian soldiers, I'd feel some sympathy, because I think Iran is getting ready to come back from the dark side.
But these were the storm troopers who would do their best to prevent that.

When will Iran learn NOT to purchase planes from Russia??? Geez, the Ilyushin, Tupelov, et al are the WORST planes around. I know a bit about them, partially because I flew on several of them during a couple of trips to the old USSR back in the 70's and 80's. Unbelievable "adventures" I would wish on no one --
