CHICAGO! That's a no-brainer - the whole town should be plowed over.
NOW GO PLOW OVER BUFFALO, CLEVELAND, AND DETROIT!!

Our FBI operates offices in several countries, China included. This doesn't answer the question. What authority does the FBI have to arrest anyone in a foreign country? They could request that the locals arrest someone and then apply for extradition. They could kidnap someone and drag them back to the US, but they couldn't arrest someone.

It is time to take the gloves off and if necessary kick some of these liberal asses in America. Everyday that goes by brings us closer to disaster. All this stalling just gives Saddam a chance to prepare and it is a known fact there are those over there and in the UN giving him all the information they can and supporting him under the table.
It also would not surprise me if a few liberal politicians in this country were not aiding him also. It is all about politics and not the welfare of America. It is getting harder everyday to find those in our own government we can trust. It is not a matter of dissenting it is a matter of politics, plain and simple.

How can the FBI arrest anyone overseas? This would be like the French police coming over here and arresting someone. We can't. Generally, we work through local authorities who do it for us. Occasionally, we simply kidnap them, which has caused some interesting court cases, but we get away with it. Ask Manuel Noriega.

Direct result of the Chicago plea bargain. This guy (Enaam Arnaout) is singing like a canary.
CHICAGO, Feb. 10, 2003
(CBS) The head of an Islamic charity linked to Osama bin Laden pleaded guilty Monday to funding rebels in Chechnya and troops in Bosnia but the government dropped a charge accusing him of using his foundation to support al Qaeda.
Under a plea deal, Enaam Arnaout, a Syrian-born U.S. citizen, pleaded guilty to a single racketeering conspiracy count as jury selection was about to begin.
"In entering a plea today, Mr. Arnaout made a decision that he believes is in the best interest of his family, the charity and the American Muslim community," said Arnaout's attorney, Joseph J. Duffy.

"Gee, haven't heard a peep out of CAIR so far this morning. They're slipping" - mewzilla
Mr Hooper was on the Ken Hamblin show yesterday. He said his usual "we are being discriminated against" lines and other assorted blather
CAIR is keeping quiet now. Last month, at an Islamic center in Orlando, CAIR and other groups had a pow wow about supposed racism towards the Islamic community thru out the US.....
....and Dr Al-Arani was in attendance
Scary....that I work a mile from this Islamic center in Orlando
I wonder if CAIR will still have their ad in the NYTimes this Sunday?

Hitlery! can't be very pleased either...

I think that story is bogus... bin Laden owned freighters but the idea there are three ships floating around out there that we are afraid to board is ridiculous.

Except the French police would surrender to the suspect, instead of vice versa...

They can't legally do it. It would seem they can.
