I remember reading that (The story made the front page of the USA Today a little back) thinking, no way a Clinton would ever appoint a judge like that! Reagan appointed him. This is why we want conservative justices! Bump for MIGUEL ESTRADA!

Thank you for posting this. I just received a copy by email. This is the way America OUGHT TO BE. No secret trials, no suspension of Habaeous Corpus, no strip searches at airports, no "reasonable restrictions" on liberty to provide false security.
Just Americans, unafraid and proud of their tradition of due process.
It might be worthwhile to see some of the other sentences and rulings this Judge has issued.
