Hard to catergorize and define a single favorite. My best way of determining that is by examining the ones I have bought and watched more than once.

• It's a wonderful life - A classic I have not yet tired of seeing.
  
• Dark City - Excellent movie
  
• A beautiful Mind - not a completely accurate biography but the movie itself was well done IMHO.

• Twin Peaks fire Walk with me (and the series)
  
• Unbreakable
  
• The Stand
  
• Signs
  
• The Straight Story (G rated by Movie by David Lynch, go Figure)
