1. Q: What percentage of the world's population does the U.S. have?
A: 6%
2. Q: What percentage of the world's wealth does the U.S. have?
A: 50%
Liberty and capitalism work.
3. Q: Which country has the largest oil reserves?
A: Saudi Arabia
4. Q: Which country has the second largest oil reserves?
A: Iraq
Kinda shoots the whole war-for-oil argument to pieces. Because we don't appear to be going to war with Saudi Arabia, do we?
5. Q: How much is spent on military budgets a year worldwide?
A: $900+ billion
6. Q: How much of this is spent by the U.S. ?
A:50%
Which does put us in a position to be able to do things when our national interests are threatened. Good.
7. Q: What percent of US military spending would ensure the essentials of life to everyone in the world, according the UN?
A: 10% (that's about $40 billion, the amount of funding initially requested to fund our retaliatory attack on Afghanistan ).
How much does the UN collect in dues from various nations?

And another question- how much do we spend, per year, on foreign aid? And how long have we been doing so?

So why have the essentials not been provided for these people?

The answers to those questions are the reasons why those two questions from the propagandists are gibberish.

8. Q: How many people have died in wars since World War II?
A: 86 million
How many wars have broken out between two democracies?

Wouldn't that be a good reason to get rid of dictators and foster the growth of Democracy?

9. Q: How long has Iraq had chemical and biological weapons?
A: Since the early 1980's.
10. Q: Did Iraq develop these chemical and biological weapons on their own?
A: No, the materials and technology were supplied by the US government, along with Britain and private corporations.
Better let them keep it then, damn the consequences!
11. Q: Did the US government condemn the Iraqi use of gas warfare against Iran ?
A: No
The author apparently never heard of the "Prevention of Genocide Act of 1988".
12. Q: How many people did Saddam Hussein kill using gas in the Kurdish town of Halabja in 1988?
A: 5,000
13. Q: How many western countries condemned this action at the time?
A:0
The author apparently never heard of the "Prevention of Genocide Act of 1988".

Etc etc etc. By the way, by answering these questions as I chose to I am in no way stating I think there is any validity to any of the numbers or assertions being made by the author.

How much does the UN collect in dues from various nations?

UN Claims it needed for 2001 - 2002: 2.5 Billion (Source UN Web Site)

US Contribution 2002: 300 Million = ~23-24% (Source US State Department Budget)

For Peacekeeping the UN needed 2 Billion (UN), US Contribution 844 Million = 42% (State)

And another question- how much do we spend, per year, on foreign aid? And how long have we been doing so?

Since 1962, the US has spent (in constant 1996 dollars [I dont have conversion rates to any other year!!]) $733,380,895,773 (any average of almost 2% of total revenues [$42,496,709,383,530] and approximately 16% of the total debt [4,438,262,616,470] this country has incurred since 1962) (Source State & Treasury)

So why have the essentials not been provided for these people? Maybe because the UN and all of the regimes it supports are corrupt??

The answers to those questions are the reasons why those two questions from the propagandists are gibberish.
