Alas, he had to keep coming up with yet additional SPECIAL THINGS to emphasize how HEAVENLY SPECIAL THEY WERE compared to all the other 'idiots' out in the OTHER world.

I see it as extensive playing of the INGROUP/OUTGROUP game.

It's a little difficult to get more BASICally SPECIAL and DIFFERENT than UNDERWEAR! Especially after the satanic tinged temple rituals involving it etc.

I've always wondered, though, what do they do when it needs cleaned or wears out? How do you get out of the old and put on the new without being UNCOVERED??? in such SPECIAL PLACES???
