I'll post when I'm finished shaking with rage...grrrr.

All these people should be locked up for life.
However, this article is basically a vehicle for anti-homosexual propaganda masquerading as concern for sexual abuse victims. Nice example of using tragedy for political gain.

I mean the idea that "children need to be protected from homosexuals" is as valid as "children need to be protected from heterosexuals".
Children need to be protected from anyone with a pedophilic bent is a more correct idea, IMO.
The source for this article is not really interested in children who may be abused by pedophiles with a "heterosexual" nature... because the ultimate point of this article is to demonize homosexuals.

When I was young, I used to have a lot of fun with that song. I'd ask people what a beware was.

True, but then again I rarely drive by rest areas with 30+ cars of heterosexual couples having multiple anonomyous sex partners in the woods....but homosexual men on the other hand, just consider that an afternoon of fun.
It goes on everyday at a rest area about 10 miles from my house and I am sure it is replicated across the country all the time...of course the police won't do anything about it, because that would be a violation of their civil rights I guess...

Well.. that's true for some homosexual males. Obviously not all of them engage in this sort of behavior. However, it might also be true for heterosexual males if women were easier to sleep with. If women crowded around public restrooms looking for sexual partners, I predict you'd see the exact same behavior from some heterosexual men. Notice you never find lesbians doing things like that.

Well.. I don't really know from personal experience, but I'm sure it does as well. They should absolutely be.. uh.. I'm not sure what the penalty is for sex in public restrooms, but whatever it is the police should be enforcing the law when they encounter people having sex in public. Probably they do occasional raids. If the police in your area are not even attempting to enforce this very reasonable law (keep in mind maybe they just can't spend all day at public restrooms, and maybe do occasionally arrest people), then you should complain.

Yes, it is relevant. It would certainly explain why you made such a comment.

What you always find in these cases is that the people in charge of these units failed to ensure that the BSA's Youth Protection guidelines were followed (no adult ever alone with un-related kids, and a few others), and the parents in charge of the children failed to follow common sense (don't let Mr. Nice Guy give you kids gifts and have them over to his house). If the parents and the unit leaders and committees were doing their jobs, this wouldn't have happened.
