This is why we go to the mat against the RATs for the confirmation of Estrada. They are going to continue this in the Judicial committee until they are relegated to even more minority status in 2004!

People of Lousiana should not have re-elected Landrieu and believed her lies she would support Bush Judicial nominees.

If we allow the Rats to win the Estrada fight, Bush may as well allow Dasshole and Peta Pelosi to make all his appointments for him.

The master plan of the Dems, IMO, is to slow down everything! They want none of Bush's program implemented because that will improve things for America so they are being as obstructionist as possible. We should remember thay have no morals and not be surprised. I hope as this goes on the Republicans will finally be pushed over the limit and really hammer the Dems. I understand that during the filebuster last night Republicans showed some spunk. Let us hope it is only the beginning.

If those gutless bastids Bill Frist and Orin Hatch had kept their word 2 weeks ago and forced a true filibuster, with a quorum in attendance at all times, and a democrat holding the floor speaking to the issue 24/7 until they gave up, this would have been over and the democrats wouldn't try it again. All they had to do was haul out the cots, but they wussed out.

It is not the Democrats fault this is still on hold, it is Frists and Hatchs

So9 So9

The Democrats are being partisan and mean-spirited.

They are responsible for gridlock.

They are shutting down the government.

They are trying to hijack the confirmation process.

All I can say is . . .

No justices, no peace.

I said this a long time ago. The Dems will try to block EVERY Bush Appellate appointment. It will NOT end just with Estrada. In fact, Estrada, because of his ethnicity, might be the easiest to get through. The hispanic minority groups won't help us to confirm Pickering, Owens, and the others. Their nominations are DOA. It's unconstitutional, but hey, why should we expect anything different from the Dems. The law and tradition mean NOTHING to them, except when it works in their favor.
