Former Abortion Facility Director Reveals Abortion's Inside Scoop By Bob Weir

[Pro-Life Infonet Note: Bob Weir is a Texas-based syndicated columnist and author of four books.]

On a bitter cold Sunday morning, my wife and I went to Lakeland Baptist Church in Lewisville to pay our respects to God and to hear another motivating sermon from our pastor, Dr. Ben Smith.

However, on this day Brother Ben relinquished his pulpit to a woman named Carol Everett. Ms. Everett is the author of "Blood Money," an expose of the abortion industry. For more than 20 minutes, this former abortion provider electrified the congregation with the true stories of tactics used and lies disseminated by the pro-choice cartel that has systematically robbed our country of the moral and spiritual fiber that kept us united for more than 200 years.

Tearfully explaining that she was involved in about 35,000 abortions, she chokes up when revealing that she aborted one of her own 30 years ago. "That was, and always will be, my daughter," she cried. "I still celebrate her birthday each year."

Painting a horrifying picture of the greed, cynicism, and cold-blooded preoccupation with selling abortion as a lucrative product, Ms. Everett admitted her role in gaining the confidence of girls as young as 12, in order to separate them from their most important support group, their parents.

"First, I established myself as an authority on sex, explaining to them that their parents wouldn't help them with their sexuality. Second, our doctors prescribed low-dose birth-control pills with a high pregnancy rate, fully aware that they needed to be taken very accurately at the same time every day or pregnancy would occur. This ensured the teens would be my best customers, as teenagers typically are not responsible enough to follow such rigid medication guidelines on their own. I knew their sexual activity would increase from none or once a week to five or seven times a week once they were introduced to this contraception method. Then I could reach my goal: three to five abortions for each teenager between the ages of 13 and 18."

Ms. Everett spelled out in grisly detail the despicable system of encouraging promiscuity among teenagers in order to trick them into unplanned pregnancies then scare them into having abortions, while doctors and their partners in the avaricious enterprise split up the profits. And huge profits they are: thousands of dollars per hour, according to the author/lecturer.

Operating like a homicidal assembly line, the medical team aborts a child in room A, then scurries across the hall to room B, where their staff has prepared the next pitiful victim of a country that has lost its way. We're often told that the pro-choice movement is based on a political philosophy of female empowerment. What kind of female seeks power by snuffing out the life of a child? The very idea that the only route to power for the women of America is the power over their ovaries is extremely demeaning. Some of the most successful leaders in the history of the world were also mothers.

I'm afraid we have been sold a bill of goods by the multibillion-dollar abortion industry, which has become, in many instances, a scheming, crafty, organized group of hustlers dedicated to enriching the bank accounts of the "blood money" practitioners. Ms. Everett's personal experiences puts the lie to the appellation "pro-choice." Using the innocuous-sounding metaphor is merely another deliberate obfuscation masking the true intent, which is pro-death. Thirty years ago, the Supreme Court legalized abortion, but they never intended it to be a substitute for conscientious birth control or a license for degenerate behavior.

The steady erosion of values in the last three decades cannot be viewed as coincidental. When the heart and soul of a nation becomes so callous that a living, growing fetus struggling to be born, can't rely on the protection of its mother, why should we be surprised at the devaluation of human life in other instances? How can we consider ourselves to be a proud and just people, if we refuse to stand up for the most helpless among us? Furthermore, how can we stand by and allow people to become wealthy by encouraging pregnancy to our children, then tearing the results from their womb and discarding it like a glob of human waste?

If Ms. Everett can have the courage to turn her life around, there is still hope for the rest of the country.

NATIONAL AMERICAN HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL

BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA

Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director, Priests for Life; touring the facility soon after it was shut down.

Father said the second Mass in the building, after it reopened as the current Memorial.

At this one mill, 30,000 children were martyred by abortion from 1986 -1994.

That is very hard for me to believe. (Or maybe I just don't WANT to believe it!)

If it is true, it seems to me that there are some serious ethic violations here. Maybe legal violations, too. Does anybody know?

JudyB1938,

It IS all very hard to believe.

Get the book Lime 5. Then go to the Life Dynamics home page and read on. There are accounts from signed affidavits from several former employees of mills throughout the country that the intsruments used in abortions were NEVER sterilized! They would rinse them off and re-use them.

A review from a book site of Lime 5: "This book lays out, plainly and factually, the enormously detrimental effects widespread abortion has on our country. Crutcher relies primarily on the statements of abortion providers themselves to give "inside" views of the abortion industry, and reveals shocking revelations about ethical lapses in the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Above all, he lays bare the fact that the abortion industry is more about power and money than it is about any imagined "dignity" of American women which that very industry routinely disregards in abhorrent fashion. If you're "pro-choice" and "intellectually honest", don't hesitate to read this book: it's an illuminating factual story without preaching or pretense. If you don't want to know the facts, I suggest picking up some Planned Parenthood press release instead."

The NATIONAL AMERICAN HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL mentioned above was closed (by the feds) because it was dispensing narcotics illegally. Look at the pictures above, notice the garbage disposal--why would there be one in a "procedure room"? That's where the smaller babies went-the sewer!

It happens 4,000 times a day, but most people never learn the truth--because it is very painful and disturbing. Most simply just don't WANT to believe it! That is why this holocaust will last as long as it does.

Keep in mind if it's "O.K." to abort babies--even 9 month olds' via Partial Birth abortion, "some serious ethic violations" won't bother them.

My cousin, a new age hippie chick from the sixties, and I, a modern day right wing catholic wingnut, could usually argue about nearly anything.

But, we were in agreement on one issue... abortion.

She had worked in Social Services in California. The State there pays for teen abortions (at least under Medicaid, apparently). The girls would get repeated abortions. Not because they couldn't afford (free) contraceptives, but because those contraceptives were TOO INCONVENIENT.

One girl, Lois said, had been back something like six times, that SHE KNEW OF. And she was under 18. Six before her eighteenth birthday. And she viewed it as something akin to visiting the dentist. Show up, take care of the problem, go back to the 'good life.'

yeesh.

With our tacit acceptance of in vitro fertilization and then the 'apparent' necessity for some abortion, our society too quickly arrived at acceptance of, no, DEFENSE OF, infanticide. The Supreme Court's rulings in Roe, Doe, and Casey v Planned Parenthood of Pennsylvania have lent the air of acceptable and legal to the slaughter of millions of preborn, alive, in some cases (nearly 100,000 partial birth abortions have been done according to Guttmacher Institute) aware and nearly born, individual human beings. Such is the corrosive nature of 'amoral' court activism.

This is Mark Crutcher's compelling 320-page expose' of the American abortion industry. A unique and uncensored look at our nation's most wrenching social issue, it is certain to become required reading for people on both sides of the issue as well as those caught in the middle. It fully documents that women are being sexually assaulted, mutilated, and killed inside perfectly legal abortion clinics in numbers that have never before been made public. It also shows how pro-choice organizations have used raw political power to fight off regulation of their industry.

In one of its most powerful chapters, it exposes a massive cover-up of abortion industry disasters being carried out by an agency of the U.S. government. Other subjects include: how the abortion industry is collapsing because of the toll abortions take on the people who perform them; the medical evidence of a connection between the rise in America's abortion rate and a parallel rise in breast cancer, the barriers faced by abortion-injured women who seek compensation in the courts; and suggestions for solving these problems.

Between Two Holocausts ...questions that all distraught Jews have been asking since the end of World War II: 1) How can a civilized, intellectual and educated society of people, made up of individuals presumably with consciences and souls just like everyone else, choose to systematically target and eliminate another group of individuals in cold blood, without mercy or a second thought?

Death as Deliverance: Euthanatic Thinking in Germany ca. 1890-1933 Writing in 1989, the late Cardinal John O'Connor of New York City, an ardent pro-life advocate, predicted that euthanasia would "dwarf the abortion phenomenon in magnitude, in numbers, in horror." When one considers the sheer number of abortions that are performed each year and that have been performed over the last two decades, this statement borders on fantastic. But Cardinal O'Connor's are not the words of someone given to exaggeration. While there is nothing inevitable about human predictions, O'Connor's words are haunting. What is it that can hinder this "prophecy" from coming to pass?

Good Germans tolerated Jewish extermination. Good Americans tolerated slavery. Good Americans tolerate abortion. What's to prevent the coming generation from tolerating a little euthanasia?

Your comments are haunting, Remedy. Can we chalk it up to abject selfishness?... I mean, Israel/Jews, even with their recent history of holocaust, systematically slaughter a huge number of their preborn living individual Jews with abortion on demand in Israel. The percentage of abortions to live births is truly astonishing there!

Alexandr Solzhenitsyn - Christian History But once in the West, he scolded Western elites for discarding "the moral heritage of Christian centuries with their great reserves of mercy and sacrifice" and for substituting "the proclaimed and practiced autonomy of man from any higher force above him."

And "the main cause of the ruinous Revolution that swallowed up some sixty million of our people" was—as he had heard his elders starkly say—that "men have forgotten God." That forgetting is also "the principal trait of the entire twentieth century."

Historical abortion statistics, Israel

Israel’s Slaughter of Israelis There have been only a few articles in the American press about abortion in Israel. One of the most revealing was published in CHRISTIANITY TODAY, April 7, 1997, entitled "JEWISH TRADITIONALISTS, SOME CALLING ABORTION ‘THE SECOND HOLOCAUST,’ ABHOR IT. The author tells it straight "With the army providing free abortions for female soldiers, and social workers actively promoting abortion as a cure-all for emotional and economic woes, abortion in Israel is a widely accepted practice. But that may change with new restrictive legislation before the Israeli Knesset."

A study of census figures of both Israel and the USA comparing their officially reported abortions reveals that the Israeli rate of abortion is about 131% of the reported US rate, and may be much higher, if all the facts could be known. This figure is also understated because Israel’s population includes well over a million Muslims living in Israel, whose abortion rate is probably nil. Muslims in the Mid East rarely even discuss the subject, so alien is the practice of abortion in their culture. There is no comparable large, effectively zero, abortion rate group in the US, so it is likely the rate per Jewish citizen is higher yet.

Christianity Today is right to call it an "epidemic," though it erroneously reports that the official Israeli abortion rate is about "one-half the United States rate" but did not support this statement. Its error is probably in failing to count the illegal abortions reported. The Israeli government has a self-policed monopoly on "legal" abortions, but it also reports an almost equal number of "illegal" abortions. Obviously these were not being prevented, or else how could the government know how many to report? In 1999, 16,000 illegal abortions were reported. But if these were free enterprise, privately, confidentially performed abortions one might expect underreporting if anything. There is no way to know how much worse the actual abortion rate in Israel is. (Satiates for calculation were gleamed from the US Census 2000, the CIA world Factbook, Israel, the US Center for Disease Control, and the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics)

Considering that an exceptionally large number of Israelis are atheists, they know they have no one to answer to but themselves. Each does what is right in his own eyes. As the Bible says, "Truly we are a double-minded people." -end, part one.
