I don;t think he sounds lame, he like all of us, is confused about what the endgame is.

He just mentioned the War might play a part in this.

It occurred to me this morning, that maybe we are fighting this "war" in the Senate the same way we are fighting the war on terrorism.

No direct attacks, YET. Just a few well placed, well trained individuals behind the lines taking them down one at a time. IN the senate one Senator at a time. In the war of terrorism, one leader at a time. Now THAT takes nerve and some good planning.

If the end is the same, I'm for it. Save the 24-7 for the last. In the mean time, spread the news, hurt the Rats as much as possible, toy with them a bit. Then go in for the final strike when they've been weakened.

Rush understands the Republican "strategery" now. Says the dems are in a lose-lose situation.

He said again the Fox story was not accurate, and he was under a mis-impression about how the voting works. Sees that Republicans are forcing the dems to go on record again and again and again as voting against, or refusing to let the vote be held, a well-qualified nominee.

Says dems will lose.

When I heard Rush was going to address this I muted (mercifully, really) the Senate.

Spanish caller (self-identified "Spanish") on now and is encouraging other hispanics to mobilize and contact their Senators.

Foghorn Hollings up now...

Hispanic up now saying Hispanics should desert the Dems. Then we'll have 60 Senators.

How many rats are running from the Senate? Let's see:

Kerry
Lieberman
Edwards
Biden?

Plus of course, the stealth candidate, Hillary.

This doesn't even count Rat senators who want to leave town to speak at universities, think-tanks, and media events. Those guys are stuck for the duration, because the ones who will get to leave will be the candidates. This should also cause the Rat candidates to be even nastier with each other.

And if they turn down an invitation, they will have to say why.

Devious plan. I like the way you think.

6.95 for how long? I did the one year of 24/7 plus newletter for about $40 last year, the day after I was on the show as a caller.

Rush now saying Pledge-God ruling is another thing in Estrada's favor.

Your hit the nail on the head. That is the question everyone should be asking

NOTE--re:Freeping FRIST via email---
I spoke with very nice young man in Frist's local (Memphis) office. While emails are ok, he says that they receive so many a day, you have a MUCH better chance of getting attention by making a phone call or fax. I've done both
Here are Frist's numbers. (Email all begins to run together after a while. Phone or fax more effective.)

FRIST DC OFFICE:
Phone:202-224-3344 FAX: 202-228-1264

IN TENNESSEE:

Sen. Bill Frist local Memphis office: 901-683-1910
Faxes: Memphis office: 901-683-3610)

Sen. Lamar Alexander: 202-224-4944

Four Democratic senators who need Freepin:

ARKANSAS:

Sen Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) 202-224-4843

Sen Mark Pryor(D-AR) 202-224-2353

LOUISIANA:

Sen Mary Landrieiu (D-LA) 202-224-5824

Sen John Breaux (D-LA) 202-224-4623

Let's also factor in the age criteria. Byrd, Hollings, and Feinstein won't be able to sustain a 24-Hour, every hour on the hour vote until Estrada is confirmed.

That's another strategy that we could use.

I like the way you think, as well. M(abelkitty) and M(iss Marple)!

Thinking outside the box, as Bush often does. Frist does too, I think.

Hatch calling the quorum out of the blue is a clue. They are going to do that every so often, especially on Mondays and Thursdays, in case someone is trying for a long weekend.

I bet they have informers at Reagan Airport. Heheheh.
