Earlier this year, in an attempt to boost sagging ratings against the FOX News Channel, CNN revamped its Crossfire news discussion show by expanding it to one hour from thirty minutes, hired a couple of Clintonistas and moved it to the campus of George Washington University in downtown Washington, D.C...

Excerpt from CNN transcript...
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Yes, I'm Christian Taylor (ph) from Washington, D.C.
Mr. Begala, when will the powerful former Clinton Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin be called to testify in the Senate about asking the Bush treasury department to manipulate Enron's credit rating? And when he made that call, was Mr. Rubin acting on behalf of the people or on behalf of the powerful Citigroup that he works for?
BEGALA: Well, of course, the Republicans have the power to subpoena him and the House of Representatives. They have declined to do so. I wish they would, because he'd teach them something about running the economy. These guys have run the economy into the ground. Bob Rubin did a hell of a job. I'm proud to call him my friend. They can call him any time. He can teach them a thing or two about this economy.
COULTER: Party of the people.

Nice one.
How about the one where Kristinn described how he had to be careful reaching for his pack of smokes as a lone protester. Some time in back 98?
Don't know if FR the archive thingy goes back that far. It was good.

11 Leftist questions, one in the middle and two from us right wingers.
At least Aziz alTaee got to speak.
Unfortunately, KMart stood the whole time at a mike and was not called on. At the end of the show, he was really hot. I would be too.

It's like what Alan Keyes said at a debate during the 2000 Republican Primary Presidential campaign: "They're [the media] is keeping the 'black out' as in the black candidate out."

LOL. Thanks.
John Robinson's search engine for FR requires that you know a word or two from the TITLE of the thread...
Check with the list of bookmarks on
kristinn's profile page, though - for a rather EXTENSIVE list of the DC Chapter's noble deeds. :o)

MrC,
Your personal act of courage 5 years ago has yielded great results. You're a true patriot!
What you did has helped smash the leftists' monopoly on the streets. No longer can they go into the streets confidant that they will be unopposed. No longer can liberal politicians assume that they won't be protested.
Albert Camus said it best: "I rebel, therefore we exist."
Your solitary protest has brought conservatives out of their solitude and into joint efforts to improve the country.
FReepers, the operational arm of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, are everywhere.
You saw evil and you opposed it. You made the world a better place!
May God bless you and safeguard your health after your difficult ordeal.
