This morning my head just almost blew off when I saw Matt and Katy with all their talking heads regarding the war with Iraq. This just really gets under my skin. I just want to know something from Matt and Katty. Did the U.N. or any of the countries involved in the U.N. give Saddam Insane the go ahead to make all those chemical weapons. Did the U.N. or any of its members give Saddam the green light to kill all of those people in his country who opposed him. I'm really tired of hearing about us needing to get everybodies check mark to act. Screw them. We don't need anybody. We are the freedom fighters of the World now. When our freedom or anybody elses is in jeparody, I say it's time to act. Enough said. If that's pushing our authority around, so what, it's for the good of the world. Also for all of those out there who are protesting the war. Get off the meth. You keep saying that we are doing it for OIL? If that is the case, why don't we just declare victory in Saudia Arabia and Kuwait. We have enough troops there now to take over if we really were there for the oil. You people need to wake up!

The stories coming out now of teachers ridiculing families for going to the gulf because it's their duty really make me furious. I'm 33 years old. I would like to say to all vets including those who fought in Vietnam, here's a great big thank you for doing something for me even though you don't even know me. I really appreciate everything you guys and gals have done for me. God Bless All Of You! This just goes to show you how the time has come for us to take back our schools and our Universities. My kids go to a real small school here in Texas and their teachers have even told them that the Republican party is the party of the rich. Where in God's name did that come from. It's all garbage. We are not the wealthest people on the block by any means. We've had to work hard for everything we've got. We are members of the Republican Party. NOT because we're rich but because we believe in what it stands for. The bias in the schools, the media, and everywhere else is poison to our society. It's time that we took a stand and let's stand proud! I would love to see a movement to spread across this wonderful country of ours for this Fourth of July celebrating all the great heroes of this country who helped people like me have the freedoms that I have today.

Another thing that really has gotten under my nerves here lately is this SUV nonsense. WHAT?? Don't we have more important things to consider at this point in time.

Something else. This ONE man who is trying to get God out of the pledge, needs to be stopped. ONE MAN. That's pretty pathetic. I guess it is just like the ONE WOMAN who took prayer out of schools. DO ME A FAVOR AMERICA, (at least those that are mad as hell like me) TAKE A STAND WITH ME AND STOP ALL THE B.S. THAT'S MAKING THIS COUNTRY REALLY SMELL BAD.

There's a remedy for anger brought on by Matt and Katy's morning stupidities: Rush Limbaugh

Dial him in, and be cured.

I hear ya. I hear ya. I am at a point of near despair sometimes. I just want to lie on the floor and cry for our world. Once I get over that, I want to go in and do whatever it takes to get rid of Hussein and his horribly evil regime. I watched "Beyond Desert Storm" (a History Channel documentary about the nuclear scientist that defected) and I am more convinced than ever that Hussein is as evil as they come.

The show is being rebroadcast at 11pm CT tonight...(March 4th) -- not sure when they will do it again. If you can catch it, do.

Anyway... way to stick with one thought there. :-)

Or, in truth, looks like you've hit the wall finally. Welcome to the party, Freeper. Come on in, the water's fine.

A most excellent question that I will ask my new liberal friends.

"Did the U.N. or any of the countries involved in the U.N. give Saddam Insane the go ahead to make all those chemical weapons."

I don't know. Did the UN give us permission to make our chemical weapons?

"Did the U.N. or any of its members give Saddam the green light to kill all of those people in his country who opposed him."

I doubt it.

"We don't need anybody. We are the freedom fighters of the World now. When our freedom or anybody elses is in jeparody, I say it's time to act."

Well, then join the army, or get yourself elected to high office.

"Also for all of those out there who are protesting the war. Get off the meth."

I don't take meth. Actually I don't protest against the war, though I don't want it to happen.

"You keep saying that we are doing it for OIL? If that is the case, why don't we just declare victory in Saudia Arabia and Kuwait."

We are not at war with Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

"We have enough troops there now to take over if we really were there for the oil."

Have you been there. I have, and I don't think we have enough people to take over two of our Middle East allies.

"The stories coming out now of teachers ridiculing families for going to the gulf because it's their duty really make me furious."

I haven't heard those stories, but if they're true, then it pisses me off too.

"I'm 33 years old. I would like to say to all vets including those who fought in Vietnam, here's a great big thank you for doing something for me even though you don't even know me. I really appreciate everything you guys and gals have done for me. God Bless All Of You!"

You're welcome, and thank you for the sentiment.

My kids go to a real small school here in Texas and their teachers have even told them that the Republican party is the party of the rich. Where in God's name did that come from."

Census data. I believe it too. I'm not saying that there aren't filthy rich dems, or greens, or my own non-affiliateds, but by and large, if you are rich and want to stay that way, you vote GOP.

"The bias in the schools, the media, and everywhere else is poison to our society."

By this, I'm assuming you aren't referring to the heavy conservative bias of Fox News, Rush, Savage and other media.

Another thing that really has gotten under my nerves here lately is this SUV nonsense. WHAT?? Don't we have more important things to consider at this point in time.

Some people feel that if we drive vehicles that consume less gas, we can become more self sufficent as a oil-consuming nation.

Something else. This ONE man who is trying to get God out of the pledge, needs to be stopped. ONE MAN. That's pretty pathetic. I guess it is just like the ONE WOMAN who took prayer out of schools.

Prayer, and 'under God' are fine in private (i.e. no federal funding) schools. If it is a public school, then the laws governing the separation of church and state apply. If you want to pray in school, go ahead, it is your constitutionally protected right, as is saying 'under God' during the pledge, or not saying the pledge at all. The teacher just can't lead students in these acivities, it is not in a public schools purview to do so.

I'm a 16 year old high school student in suburban Virginia and I deal with this kind of leftist liberalism constantly at school. It's sickening to me that so many of them can just throw speculations out as if they are fully informed and aware of every detail of this war. Everything is anti-Bush, anti-war, anti-Republican. They have no credibility, yet nobody except for the few and the proud on this website, fox news channel, or the occasional journalist dares to step out and fight them. Commonly used insults to conseratives trying to stand up against liberal issues are "bigot", "racist", "right wing nut", "confederate", and others that I occasionally hear circulating in my school. Teachers poison the well frequently with hinted liberal bias and endorsed policies that only show the true one-sided liberalism that plagues our schools today. It's crazy. I hope, like you, at some point we proud Republicans take a stand against this terrible bias in the media and other influential branches of our society today. Nothing would make me happier.

I know it gets disheartening sometimes especially since liberals makes no sense what so ever. You listen to them and think who in their right mind believes this crap? Hang in there, we are winning. Look at the Congress, Senate and our beloved President. Right now the only way a democrat can win an election is through fraud, bribery, and lies. I think when people compare President Bush to the "Zipper". It is like night & day. When people listen to conversatives vs liberals. Again it is night & day. Every day more and more People are crossing over. Now we have the internet, (Thank God for Free Republic), Fox News etc. Remember it took us fifty years to get in this mess but hopefully it will not take another fifty to straighten it out. There are more of us than them and we are growing. Let the liberals continue to be fools. Where else can you get this kind of entertainment for free? I use to get angry at their comments now I just laugh at them.

Glen Beck wraps his head with duct tape to keep those in the area from being hurt by the shrapnel when his head explodes. Might try that before tuning in the network morning morons.

Better yet: DON'T TUNE IN!!

So glad to see your post! I was screaming at Matt and Katie this morning myself! I was so furious how they so obviously undermined our position on Iraq, and gave the floor to every left wing RAT possible! The female former Clinton advisor speaking about Korea and saying we need leadership sent me into hysterics!
I was emailing the Today show with smoking keyboard telling them where to stuff their so called "news" show.

To those interested, I also posted an article called "On the rock, we shall stand." It was posted on 6-27-02. It deals with the subject of religion and politics. Some of you might find it interesting. I don't quite know how to cut and paste or I'd do so.
