Savage resonates with me. I haven't heard any lies coming from him. He does a masterful job picking out the sneaky machinations of the socialists and communists who hide behind touchy-feely names that hide their true intent.

Typical left wing ad hominen attacks. Why doesn't Salon debate the issues that are threatening our country that Savage handles head on? Too much for the liberal pussies-be 'glaad' when they're bankrupt and gone.

Ditto, I find Michael Savage to be as subtle as a flame thrower. but then again watching a flame thrower in action is fascianating.
Occasional does of him are good for me, and I look forward to seeing what he does on TV.

Sorry, but IMHO Savage does more damage to the conservative movement than good.I kinda' agree. At times Savage is a bit like Barry Goldwater on speed.
I do, however, enjoy his rants on the "Red Diaper Doper Babies". It really is an area of Leftist politics that needs a Klieg light shown onto it and "Savage" is plugged in.

No doubt the anti-abortion, anti-gay, pro-family Michael Savage... Do you notice they couldn't turn 'pro-family' into an 'anti'. What would that be?

If Salon doesn't like him, he must be GREAT! Go, Savage Nation! For victory & freedom!!!

Savage is like a right wing version of Al Sharpton. True believers nod their heads in agreement with whatever they say...
However, the vast majority of people just think to themselves: "nutjob"

He has my vote & my listenership. He is ACTION behind the mike. We are blessed today with so many good conservative talk show hosts.

Salon may be plummetting into the abyss, but that doesn't change the fact that Savage is a nutjob. His screeching does nothing but make conservatives look bad, which is probably why he's been given a slot on MSNBC.

No doubt the anti-abortion, anti-gay, pro-family Michael Savage... Do you notice they couldn't turn 'pro-family' into an 'anti'. What would that be? How about anti-society as in Hillary's 'It Takes a Village'?
On another note, the point I find interesting is that about almost every conservative was at one point a liberal. A real expose' would cover liberal who were at one time conservatives. The only person that springs to mind is Hillary, though she was raised in a conservative family (anti-society unit) and may never have embraced the values themselves.
Does this type of animal exist anywhere in the world, or does the writer of this article have at least 50/50 odds of becoming a Republican a some latter point in his life? LOL

Muslims and other minorities That's a complete libel. I listen to him. He does not do this.

"He demanded that gays 'accept the blame' for the rise of AIDS, then grumbled, 'Those who practice orgiastic sex, with many partners, and use street drugs are not likely to respond to reason.' "
Makes perfect sense to me.
The author of the article, David Gilson, calls it a "homophobic rant." Kinda gives the game away, doncha think?

"How a Jewish kid from the Bronx went from swimming naked with Allen Ginsberg to spewing the ugliest bile on talk radio."
As Ginsberg was America's ugliest poet, it all seems to fit.

Geez, do ALL of Salon's articles get this wordy and repetitious? No wonder they're losing money, they must buy buckets of ink just to repeat things! The author could have used some editing, imo.

If you read the drivel, the gist is that Savage is "over the edge" and uses radio as therapy. It's a typical liberal smear tactic to attribute instability to conservatives. Their ideas are dangerous, you know, promulgated by madmen.
To: anniegetyourgun
I hate Salon....but Savage is such easy prey. Perhaps easy prey, but fully able to not only defend himself, but able to inflict heavy damage on the enemy.
