If the FBI does have independent data verifying such a connection, it would seem such information should be shared, at least internally within the FBI.

I should not feel so bad about the government refusing to provide the evidence to the public linking Iraq to 9-11. It's clear they are not even providing the information to their field agents.

I have to say, this lady does not appear very bright. She could do her own homework.

Secondly, her point is, if we attack Iraq, the terrorists responsible for 9-11 will retaliate. Should not that answer her own reservations about the need to remove Saddam?

should be deluding neither ourselves nor the American people that there is any way the FBI, despite the various improvements you are implementing, will be able to stem the flood of terrorism that will likely head our way in the wake of an attack on Iraq.

We destroyed the Taliban in Afghanistan, home of Al Qaeda, and there was not a major terrorist attack in retaliation on U.S. soil. Rowley thinks if we attack Iraq, however, that will make the terrorists retaliate. And she is correct. That should be sufficient for a reasonable person to understand the source of the 9-11 terror.
