CAPTURED al-Qaeda kingpin Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has started to give interrogators key information about the terror network, it was revealed yesterday.
It also emerged that Khalid, who was Osama bin Laden's third-in-command, could be the subject of a show trial in the US next year coinciding with the start of the presidential campaign.
After initially refusing to speak, Khalid is "cracking" after three days of questioning by Pakistani and US interrogators.
"There is always an end to human endurance," Pakistani Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat said.
US officials claim he has started disclosing details of operations in the pipeline when he was arrested at the weekend. But it is unclear whether he is telling the truth or feeding the CIA disinformation.
There is also confusion as to where Khalid is being held with reports ranging from the Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia to Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.

It is curious to learn that this guy has only been a captive (supposedly) since late last week, yet they are talking in this article about the fact that there is only so much someone can take....might this suggest he could have been under arrest sooner that we were led to believe. It would make sense that we elevated our national alert status for that two week period where we might have been concerned that his capture could have led to new terrorist acts.
Sorry I read too many spy novels, but this quote above doesnt' seem to wash with me.

It also emerged that Khalid, who was Osama bin Laden's third-in-command, could be the subject of a show trial in the US next year coinciding with the start of the presidential campaign. The man is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans, and the idiot who wrote this piece labels his prospective day in court a "show trial?" What a slap in the face to America...

Allah has a special place in hell set aside for stoolies, snitches, narcs, and frightened little sheiks who sing like the Metropolitian Opera House.

This is for consumption by al-Qaeda. All part of the psychological war. "Your big cheese is ratting on you guys."
Whether he is truly singing is anyone's guess.
