He's Ted Kennedy minus about 80 lbs., less scotch and more drugs. If you like Kennedy you like Hart.

Has he killed anyone?

You ought to post the FrontPage.com, Jack Wheeler piece as its own topic, if you haven't already. Finding it on this thread is a needle-in-a-haystack operation.

North Korea isn't threatening the supply of oil.

Neither is Iraq. Bush has never said we're invading Iraq to protect the supply of oil. In fact, our sanctions now limit the amount Iraq can pump.

But I want to know why the double standard btw N Korea and Iraq?

No double standard here. The trouble with NKorea is starting TODAY and we will resort to diplomacy as first resort. The problem with Iraq started 12 years ago and diplomacy was used to address that problem and as a LAST RESORT we are going to war.

We do know, however that Saddam openly supports the "Hamas", and other terror org.'s. Therefore we are right to destroy his govt. and supporters. Oh by the way , in case you had'nt noticed "Hamas" murdered an American teenager today, as well as several others in the past.

Careful in quoting biblical verses now.

Now you must quote something about the nut cases running N Korea.

Well-connected advisers tell me that if, as now seems likely, the UN refuses to back action against terror, Mr Bush will announce a "temporary" suspension of America's membership, to be accompanied by an offer: if the UN gets its act together and carries out long-overdue reforms, America (and its money) will return. But if there is no reform, the temporary withdrawal will, de facto, become permanent.

Moran's question had to do with Bush's "optimism" about success. (with the Iraq matter). The question in October was about the UN respolution, which "we" got on a 15-0 vote.

Church reminds me of my kids when they were little and insisted that everything be divided absolutely equally,,they used to count their presents at Christmas makiing sure they were equal. There is a concreteness here and around, like everything is simple. Thus the feint, scream about Korea. The dems know this is a feint, the worrisome thing is that so many people trumpet that old worn out question and really believe it. I will say it again, the world is shuffling. All of this is the outcome of the fall of the Soviet Union. The world is realigning itself,,this is an exciting time. Long after Bush and Hussein and Osama are gone, the world will feel the results of what is happening today.

merely someone who wants some consistency in foreign policy.

The absolutely worst idea anyone could have is a one size fits all foreign policy. Not only are you ignorant of biblical matters your understanding of basic human relations is at the level of small child.

What, if anything, in any of churchillbuff's posts has led you to believe that he has engaged in "thinking"?

Unfortunately, Howlin, in Fox's attempt at being "fair and balanced," they must provide airtime to scum sucking bilge like Gary Hart.

Yes, but we don't have to like it. ;)

Good shot, although I prefer... Terminally stupid, myself! My two sons when they were young, used to tell each other they had a case of the "Terminal Stupids!" (grin)

What terrorists who have attacked the United States were supported by Saddam? Not OBL - or at least no evidence provided so far. If Saddam-supported terrorists have attacked other countries, then let those countries go after Saddam

Churchill, you are a meathead

Why don't we arrange a tour of the CIA for you and have all the agents present you with every bit of info we have linking Hussein to being a threat to our people. Is that what you want? Will that quiet you?

.It will get people killed & destroy our intelligence network. We might as well shut the doors on the CIA.
