North Korea isn't threatening the supply of oil.

Neither is Iraq. Bush has never said we're invading Iraq to protect the supply of oil. In fact, our sanctions now limit the amount Iraq can pump.

No double standard here. The trouble with NKorea is starting TODAY and we will resort to diplomacy as first resort. The problem with Iraq started 12 years ago and diplomacy was used to address that problem and as a LAST RESORT we are going to war.

Well-connected advisers tell me that if, as now seems likely, the UN refuses to back action against terror, Mr Bush will announce a "temporary" suspension of America's membership, to be accompanied by an offer: if the UN gets its act together and carries out long-overdue reforms, America (and its money) will return. But if there is no reform, the temporary withdrawal will, de facto, become permanent.

Moran's question had to do with Bush's "optimism" about success. (with the Iraq matter). The question in October was about the UN respolution, which "we" got on a 15-0 vote.

Church reminds me of my kids when they were little and insisted that everything be divided absolutely equally,,they used to count their presents at Christmas makiing sure they were equal. There is a concreteness here and around, like everything is simple. Thus the feint, scream about Korea. The dems know this is a feint, the worrisome thing is that so many people trumpet that old worn out question and really believe it. I will say it again, the world is shuffling. All I want is the same containment policy that Bush favors for N Korea

• I'd point out that: N. Korea can't deliver nukes to willing suicide bombers, but that would be too obvious.
• I'd point out that: N Korea might be able to deliver nukes and lots of other ordinance to Seoul, but that would be too obvious.
• I'd point out that: Saddam has no hostages, but that would be too obvious.
• I'd point at that Saddam surrendered in 91' and then did not abide by the terms of surrender, but that would be too obvious.
• I'd point out that China built N. Korea and supports N. Korea, and should take care of the problem, but that would be too obvious.
• I'd point out that N. Korea is no threat to us and if it ever does become a threat to us, we'll wipe it off of the map - but that will become obvious!

What terrorists who have attacked the United States were supported by Saddam? Not OBL - or at least no evidence provided so far. If Saddam-supported terrorists have attacked other countries, then let those countries go after Saddam

Why don't we arrange a tour of the CIA for you and have all the agents present you with every bit of info we have linking Hussein to being a threat to our people. Is that what you want?Will that quiet you?
