Why am I not surprised? The Indonesian govenrment is a bunch of cowards for not getting rid of these thugs. We should have the CIA smoke that son-of-a-bi*** Thalib, shove a pork chop in his mouth before we do it.

The Indonesian government (regardless of who's leading it) has been a friend of the Clintons while Bill was in office. (I hesitate to call him a "president.")
By the same token, the "feel your pain" Clinton turned a blind eye to the situation over there during his tenure, which has been very bad for Christians for a number of years. We helped some Indonesian Christian friends to flee the the country for Australia, and then on to Canada a few years back. At the time, there were riots in Jakarta, and Christians were pulled out of their homes, dragged into the streets, beaten, raped, and sometimes killed. Heartbreaking.
