Let's Start A New "Black List" and Do It With Pride!

Posted on 03/09/2003 8:27:29 AM PST by Tacis

We need to be able to protest the words of Hollywood/entertainment leftists who talk against America. We can protest their words, their works, and the people who sponsor them.

What better example for the noble crusade that Rosa Parks, who refused to participate and boycotted the NAACP Image Awards because she didn't like what someone said. We, too, should follow the strong example of Rosa Parks and when the lefties in entertainment babble about something that is anti-American or traitorous, boycott and protest them.

The lefties unions dislike this approach, suggesting that only their members have the right to speak their minds and act on their opinions. They may also be the same folks who protected the communists and traitors during the cold war, urging that will commies working to destroy America did not have to answer for their treason and Americans didn't have the right to take any concerted action in resonse.

Here with have the opportunity to combine a concern for patriotism with a quest for civil rights. We should call it the "Black List" in honor of Rosa Parks and her spendid and righteous example. When a Hollywood type or entertainer use his/her celebrity to send a message that attacks America, the celebrity's name should be added to the "Black List" and his/her works and sponsors avoided.

Unfair? Absolutely not! The only reason the media listens to the anti-American garbage is because of the person's celebrity. The Black List simply allows the celebrity to back up his opinion by putting something on the line in support, his/her FUTURE celebrity. The leftist media will never allow non-celebrities equal time to present the truth. The only recourse we have to express our views is to use our economic determinations as our voice.

When a leftie entertainer/Hollywood type speaks treason or tries to trash America, mark it down and, like brave Rosa Parks, boycott the sucker and everyone who sponsors him/her.

Brave Rosa Parks has given us a strong new example for righting a grave publis wrong. When entertainers say things that are beyond acceptable, that are anti-American, that are traitorous, BOYCOTT THEM. Put the names on the new "Black List."

The Hollywood types that speak against America have that right, just as any individual does. But, we have the right to express our views by refusing to purchase any of their future "entertainment," or the products of those who waste their resources sponsoring them.

We don't have the big bucks for full page ads nor the ability to get the liberal media to repeat treason. But, the ultra-left wing media and the related unions no longer control the ability to spread opinion and information. The only ability we have is to simply not do business with these folks and that is why the Rosa Parks example and the new "Black List" make so much sense.

Didn't you get the memo ? The "right" ain't allowed to do blacklists. Only the left is allowed to do it, and they don't call it as such, as they deny they do such things, it's called a consensus as to whom to target.

Alec Baldwin could be the poster boy for this movement.

Martin Sheen could be the official concubine and Will Farrell can just stand around and provide comic relief.

And Mike Wallace, I found out something about him yesterday..

He once said that in a "vietnam type situation" if he was aware of an enemy ambush that would cost us lives he wouldn't let our side know about it.

His rationale was "No, you're a journalist!"

So anyone who watches that puke should have a little guilt sprinkled over them.

Are anti-war conservatives allowed to join your blacklist? IIf so, where can I, Ron Paul, Chuck Hagel, Robert Novak, and Charlie Reese sign up? You have obviously thought long and hard and how you will "punish" us for exercising our first amendent rights. Just out of curiousity: what tortures do you have in store for us?

74-year old Adam West of TV's Batman fame. I heard him on Fox News this morning. He's no different than the rest of the liberal Hollywierd left. But then what would you expect from someone who dresses up in tights?

It may be easier to start a "good" list - people and businesses that we should listen to and patronize.

Here is my reply. I just cancelled my local paper because they chose to run the Charlie Reese column. They are free to continue to run his junk, but they won't get my money.

I informed them of my decision, even though the managing editor is the daughter of a friend of mine.

I also cancelled my subscription to Martha Stewart when I discovered she was using her name and money to support Clinton.

Celebrities can say what they want, as can columnists. I am not obligated to support them with my money. It IS a free country.
