And what are they gonna do about it?.....

Hey Kofi,
Why don't you come over here with the French and make us stop. In about 14 years.

I wonder how many resolutions they'll have to pass before they arrest us?
Is it possible that France would veto the arrest warrant?

"If the U.S. goes outside the Security Council, it will not be in conformity with the U.N. charter," he said, according to the Australian Associated Press So Kofi, what are you going to do about it? Throw us out?
Since we pay most of your bills, I..um..hmmmmmm, don't see that happening.

The U.N. leader's comments came amid talks aimed at ending the three-decade dispute in Cyprus.Another testament to the effectiveness of the U.N.

I agree, we need to get out of the UN. Communists.

What part of "serious consequences" don't you understand, Kofi? Like it or not, Kofi, we DO have UN backing, under Res. 1441. The big difference between you and our president, Kofi, is that when HE says something, he actually means it, unlike most of the other UN members. If France & Co. didn't want Saddam's hair mussed, they shouldn't have unanimously passed 1441.
But if your own resolution isn't good enough for you, why don't you get with France & Co. and pass a resolution against us? If you can manage it...

They could move the UN out of New York. That would show us. *snicker*

Kofi went to college at Macalester near Minneapolis. He was just of the boat from Africa and had a small hot dog concession on the campus!! He is mocked without mercy for that on radio up here. It's incredible this clown is trying to give orders to the US. He should be shining shoes out at the airport. The UN is trying desparately to legitimize itself. we need to get out.

I keep hearing Annan and other politicos talking about International law, a subject on which I am mostly ignorant. Does anyone out there claim to understand international law and could they explain what the reasoning behind Annan's statement might be? Specifcally? (as in article, chapter, etc of the UN charter, ratified treaties, etc.)

Hey Coffee, guess what?!?!?
WE DON'T BOW DOWN TO YOU, AND YOU ARE NOT OUR RULING AUTHORITY. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL STAND UP FOR ITSELF!

Perhaps Mr. Annan would be more comfortable relocating his personal residence to Calcutta?
