I'll leave the defense of Catholicism to my Catholic brothers on FreeRepublic. I'm not going to apologize for defending them. If you want me to apologize for name-calling, I didn't say you were ignorant. I said your posts made you sound ignorant. You have obviously read a lot. For heaven's sake, the thread is about Santorum's principled stand against PBA, not a discussion of theology. Take your anti-Catholic rants someplace else.

You told me I sounded ignorant because I misread a (totally fabricated) prayer BY the archangel Michael as a prayer TO the archangel Michael.

You were wrong. It WAS a prayer TO the angel. You were ignorant.

For that, you did not apologize, and you should apologize.

You don't want to extend my speaking about Romanism as a Christian, don't interact with me about it -- after you apologize in the same arena in which you falsely accused me.

And if you yourself know Jesus, and have (as you say) "Catholic brothers," and love them, I'm wondering what you're doing to see them freed from the bondage of the false gospel their sect officially endorses. I'm always open to a better way.

It is apparently impossible for the poster to separate self-aggrandizement through self-righteous assaults on fellow posters from the purpose of the thread. I reccommend the ignore button. I've removed the poster's name from the pro-life list I usually ping because the tendency to distract the discussion from pro-life to religious arguments is overwhelming with the poster. He is a good man, but he has an apparent blind spot that hinders discussion on topics not directly within his obsession.
