TOKYO, March 8 Kyodo - New Komeito party leader Takenori Kanzaki said Saturday he has told Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi that U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan wants Japan to consider providing food aid to North Korea.

''I'll consider (the matter) with Chief Cabinet Secretary Yasuo Fukuda,'' Koizumi replied in a telephone conversation Friday night, said Kanzaki, who met with the U.N. chief during a visit to the United States earlier this week.

Fukuda has already told Kanzaki that it would be difficult to resume food aid to North Korea, according to a New Komeito party official.

Kofi would be well advised to stay clear of Japan.

Well swell, that's worked so good up to now hasn't it. We feed North Korea so they can spend every precious dime on nuke technology. Now there's an excellent plan Jimmy, oops, Kofi.

It's really a toss-up who is the biggest dufus between Carter, Chirac and Kofi. We need a three sided coin.

Maybe Kofi can dump his savings in NK before extorting, shaking down and prying the money out of Japanese tax payers... if it is worth it, then do it Kofi.... nothing worse than a f@g who asks you to do a job he dares not do.

Strengthen the evil ones with food. Reward them with money. Power them with nuclear fuel.....they will still kill you, first chance they get. I wish the UN supported goodness, not evil.

Why not just let them starve and eat each other? That would take their minds off of nuclear bombs anyway.

As long as it ain't US giving the food. I don't care if they eat tree bark. Their 2mill man army will take Dong out when they get hungry enough.

Maybe there's some leftover lobster and caviar from the Earth Summit they can send over.

Maybe if North Korea gave back some of the Japanese they kidnapped to train their spies, they wouldn't have as many mouths to feed.

Has Famous Anus gone nuts!

He goes to the ONE nation that is constantly threatened and attacked by those assholes in North Korea and asks the Japanese to feed the bastards!

Famous Anus should go the the freaking Communist Chinese -- and have them feed their hungry dogs...

Oh, and don't ask me.... I would let the starve.

I used to respect Koffi Annan, thinking he was just following the moods of the UN. I thought he was this way because he recognized the reality that the UN is a toothless bunny and he might as well go with the flow. I respected that since I thought that we might as well have someone the rest of the members might actual listen to on rare occasions, since they all seemed to despise Boutros Boutros Ghali. Afterall, the members don't want to be told what to do. Now I continually lose respect for the man. He seems to me to be one of many people who respect dictators more than democracies.

Check this out!!! Yeah, right. North Korea has been threatening to nuke Japan (and the US) for weeks now, and Koffi thinks that Japan should send some food to feed the NK military (that's where it winds up, not to the starving populace) that is out to destroy it!!! Unbelieveable.
