I think I may have changed her mind towards the end of the debate. She did finally concede military action was the only way to disarm him, and that it was better to disarm him now than have a nuke go off in a city somewhere.

I dated a SOMEWHAT moderate Democrat, and an active one at that, a couple years back and we ended up breaking up after a big argument that involved her and her lefty roommates ganging up on me. She was mixed and was very nice-looking and very curvy, and strangely a little uptight(esp for a liberal chick!)

It was hard to not sneer a bit at some of the statements that were made, so that made her feel bad. Sorry, I can't "respect" ridiculously stupid and unsupported beliefs, even if held by someone I am attracted to and even like.

We're still friends though.
