Tanks and soldiers of the 7th Armored brigade gather for a briefing by US Lieutenant General Jeff Conway Commanding General 1st Marine Expeditionary Force in the Kuwait desert, March 14, 2003. Leaders of the United States, Britain and Spain will hold an emergency summit on Sunday in a last-gasp diplomatic effort to overcome opposition in the U.N. Security Council to a resolution paving the way for war on Iraq (news - web sites). (Dan Chung/Reuters)

It's not a 60. It's a M-249/SAW. :) Fun damned gun to play with too.

Right-click on the picture and copy the address: e.g.:

I love them tanks. They look a lot more suited there than bust'n jungle. And I thought Puff and Snoopy were awesome -but not compared to the AC-130. God Bless them all - makes me want to be 35 years younger...again.

Do you think any one of them would trade places with a couple of "old tankers"?

If the Iraqi boys have brain cell one, they will give up when they see this coming their way.

Last week I was at an air show and got to see an F-15 demonstration. I was awestruck. The sound and the manuvers that this thing did was incredible. At one point, he flew above us at maybe a few hundred feet, then he yanked on the yoke and the bird turned and shot straight up into the sky until you couldn't see it anymore. I said to a friend of mine, "Man, those Baghdad dudes are going to defecate in their diapers when they see a few hundred of these things coming their way. It was VERY impressive.
I think these crybaby lefties and hollyweird types ought to attend an air show - especially Clooney. They might realize that we have the ability to win big!

"I would not wish to fight the United States either militarily, politically, or culturally. For every threat, our history teaches us that Americans offer not just a rejoinder, but the specter of a devastating answer of a magnitude almost inconceivable to those now chanting and threatening in the streets of the Middle East. Do they have any idea of what sort of dangerous people we really are? Do they understand the history of the names of those ships now off their coasts, like the USS Peleliu or Enterprise, or the pedigree of the 82nd or 101st Airborne?"
