No! Don't forget that there are about 43 % of the electorate that voted for the Felon twice and Hitlery once! About the same percentage voted for IGORE. There are a lot of brain-dead RATS that will blindly vote for Hitlery too, so let's not get complacent! The lesser Democrat candidates have to pander to the hard-left Democrat activists at this stage. Hillary may figure she can count on those people if she makes a run in 2004 and can try to make herself acceptable to more moderate voters by pretending to support the President in the Iraq crisis. A short successful war now could help her by speeding the time that attention shifts from national security issues (where the Democrats are weak) back to domestic issues and to slogans targeting their base groups (academics, environmentalists, feminists, gays, minorities, trial lawyers, etc.). I think Hillary will decide late in 2003 whether Bush is beatable in 2004--if she thinks so, she'll run rather than have to wait until 2012.

This is part of a concerted effort by the rats. On Monday, in my allergist's office, I read the March 24 issue of a major mag (dang, I can't remember which one, but I think it was US News and World Report.) There was a HUGE multipage article, the theme of which was Bush's FAILURE! Then, today, NPR has a long section during which the dicussion was: what constitutes "success" in the war on Iraq? The Idea is to redefine success as failure because of the diplomatic damage due to Bush's bungling.

These are not unrelated coincidences, and Clinton/McCauliff/Carville have their fingerprints all over it.
